Thought I would post something positive in this difficult time which we haven't hardly been use too when we all have different-seize in opinion.

Last 3 games we need to support this team and staff and show the nation what Nebraska football is all about regardless of hard it gets.

The constant negative posts on here do nothing to help the situation. Nothing. Riley is here for at the very least another year (I'll be shocked if it isn't 3-4 years) and all the negativity does is hurt our recruiting and player morale. We all know 3-6 isn't enough. We all know the coaches need to do better and they know it too. People (some of which the mods have stated are fans trolling from other boards) starting umpteen threads stating that doesn't help anything and in fact undermines the very program they supposedly support.

Yea, what happened to regardless who our Coach is we need to support the team and program.

Like I have pointed out we have a very spoiled fan base... That is because we all grew up winning 80% of the time and now time has pulled the rug underneath our feet.

I was very supportive of the team and NU's players last year. Bo was indefensible and he should never have been hired in the first place. Frank warned Tom about Bo and Carl and he still hired them because Hawks had a man crush on Bo.

I'm sure you were. The problem now is, now that the wheels have fallen off with Riley, it is all about the players aren't good, the players are cancer, the players are selling out to bloner. How is that being supportive of the team?

I haven't posted any of those things other than that we have been starting walk ons that wouldn't have started or maybe even been on the 3 deep for Tom's better teams. I resent the term "cancer" being used to describe an 18-22 year old person. All of these kids want to win. IMO, the idea that kids are going to purposely play poorly to support their former coach is not logical.

Our linebackers are getting exposed big time. We are SLOW.

That wasn't coaching. That's just bad play by a player. Period.

Please explain to me how Banker is to blame for a crappy play by Davie.

Tommy admitted that is was a run call but that he didn't want to take a loss to take us out of field goal range. It WAS on Tommy and I understand why he threw the ball BUT it was on him. In no way do I think Riley threw TA under the bus and the interviews during the week after made that clear.

Our talent level on the field is not good at many positions. We clearly don't have corners that can play man defense and we don't have linebackers that can run well enough to cover TEs and backs. Hopefully some of the young O linemen in the system grow up quickly and good. And oh yeah, POB needs to get here soon.

You post a lot of negative repetitive crap. I get it. We all get it. You don't like Riley. There. You've said it. How are you going to live with the fact that your so-called "favorite" team will still be coached by Riley next year. You're going off the deep end in Season freakin' ONE. You give him time to see if he makes progress. Six losses by a total of 23 points and you cut the man some slack. You act like a Nebraskan should.

I wasn't the one that originally said that Gerry made a lazy ass play. I pointed out the poster was criticizing the staff for what he already laid at the feet of Gerry. Secondly, Davie did in fact make a crappy play. It wasn't coaching, he just got beat. He would admit it too. In no way shape or form IMO have I unfairly bagged on a player or said they didn't belong on the Huskers. It is a fact that we need linebackers that can run better. Newby, Young, and Banderas have ALL played hurt because of the crappy depth Bo left us and they IN FACT are slowed. I have pointed out obvious things that they have seen themselves when they watched the game film. Fyfe by now has watched the game film and knows that he made some bad throws. We SHOULD have expected that our of a first time starter and hopefully he learns from his mistakes.
