Does he own a ranch in eastern WA? Like beer?
He has not been at Washington long. Seems like an interesting move for him. I thought we would get someone not in the power 2. I’m happy we can pull from a team like Washington.
He was previously at Tulane and was hired after Kalen DeBoer went to Alabama and the previous AD went with him..
We can find an A.D. in 7 days but no President in 7 months. 😒
Stealing the AD of team that just appeared in the National Championship is a big dick, Alabama type move.

UNI to Tulane to Washington. Seems like he had good football programs at all his stops and is heavily involved nationally as the Chair of the NCAA Football Competition Committee and as an Executive Committee member of the Football Oversight Committee.
Sounds like Dr Jeffery gold might be the President. And the process for hiring those two positions are completely different.
Still shouldn't take 7 months. Board of regents needs fixed.

Why would he leave Washington after only 5 months there? Seems suspicious.

I like Washington but the prices are outrageous and its rainy/foggy all of the time.

Trev was not forced out. We gave him a huge contract a few months ago and tried to keep him when he announced he was leaving.
Come on the positions are very different. The univ president is absolutely overall more important one.
Ummm he wasn’t AD when they appeared in that game. I’m skeptical of this hire. This could have waited a few months.
I'm sure you're right but universities do dumb things with money all the time. Pretty crazy for the stars to align this quickly and execute an AD hire in less than a week.
