Neighbors daughter plays for Skutt so went over tonight to watch them verses Ralston. Really anxious to see Lindsay Krause play (the true frosh who committed to NU during the summer before her HS career started).
She's the real deal. Easily the best player on the court tonight regardless of team. Obviously needs work in a few areas defensively but offensively she's got all the shots.
In system, she terminated at a high rate and her kills usually bounced off the court within a couple of feet of the 10' line. She's got that same velocity and heavy thud in her hits that Foecke brought to Lincoln out of HS.
Hell of an elite national talent right in the Huskers backyard. Pretty sweet deal. Still can't help but chuckle knowing that both her folks are Creighton grads but Lindsay chose the Huskers. Sorry, KB-B. No soup for you.
