John Baylor revealed on the Huskers Radio Network that Nebraska's Lindsay Krause twisted her ankle yesterday in practice and is out indefinitely. There is no timetable for her return. She is on crutches and is traveling with the team.
Krause has been the L2 starter alongside Harper Murray for most of the season. The Omaha native has been on a tear as she hit .300 or above in five of the last six matches. It's been an unfortunate season for Krause as she missed three games after being involved in a hit-and-run accident following the Huskers' win over Stanford in early September. Ally Batenhorst will get the start tonight. Nebraska has the depth to offset the loss of Krause, but it's a loss nonetheless.
Additionally, Northwestern is without its best player in B1G Player of the Year candidate Julia Sangiacomo who is averaging 4.11 kills per set.
