I've been pleased for Darnold all season---however, he wasnt able to handle the game against the Lions and it affected his poise and confidence tonight. he held the ball way too long all game long. perhaps some different play calling and perhaps the receivers werent getting any separation. but with jefferson out there --jesus throw it to him if he is triple covered
Sucks, but makes for an easy decision.
I’d rather be a feisty 10-7 next season with an emerging QB than a fraudulent 14-3.

Darnold was terrible and his stock really punished after his last twist performances JJ McCarty will be the QB next season..
The media is so biased. I mean, sure - focus on the fact that LA is on fire. For god's sake, it's -8 in Minneapolis right now! They are LITERALLY freezing! Fire and Ice are just two extremes of the same spectrum. But no, give LA all of the attention.
I think it might be Daniel Jones to start the year with McCarthy waiting in the wings. Depends some on how many QBs they carry and what Darnold’s demands are.
