Travis Hunter knows there is no place like Nebraska!!

Actually a small miracle that this kid turned out so well. He was able to excel at football all while seemingly being an admirable person, despite the negative influences of coach prime. Can’t be easy to come out of the other side of that clown show and still be a decent person.

I don't know his life story but maybe his parents had a lot to do with that. I don't think Prime is a bad parent perse. I do think he enabled his kids in ways that most aren't able to do. I think everything he did with his kids he thought was for the embetterment of them.

Now I will agree that he made some huge mistakes along the way. But when I think of a bad parent I don't think of one who got both of his kids through c college and coached them at least one of them all the way through college. So to me the word "bad" is relative. Depending on what you are comparing him to. Some in the African American community wish they had a father who showed the dedication Prime did to his kids.

For sure - my wife and I have been married for 20 years. We’ve been through good times and bad. I have absolute trust in her and her in me. We both started with nothing and have grown a pretty solid net worth - especially for the poor’s we were.

If hypothetically I had this net worth and also knew at the time of us dating what my wife would be like after 20 years - there is no reason for a pre-nup - we are never getting divorced and I can say that will with full confidence.

Now - at almost 50 if I was starting out with someone new, I would struggle not to protect what I had earned from someone who I just met who I have not been on a life’s journey with who could be coming from different expectations. I suppose the risk would be limited by time with the person but if they were coming in with little I would struggle not protect my life’s work.

I know a couple who just married very late in life after their spouses were deceased. One is extremely wealthy and the other is comfortable. They ended up doing a prenup because they wanted to protect the wealth for the kids of the wealthy guy. I get it in that circumstance too - where the people have lived full lives and then get married at the end to care for each other in the final chapters.
Now, what if you were young and rich before getting married? No benefit of hindsight (might be hard to do, honestly). Prenup?

Is Travis Hunter's wife a celebrity or something? How do people know anything about her and have opinions about her?

If you think coach prime is good role model or even an acceptable role model there’s probably nothing I can say to change your mind. But outside of Deion’s athletic achievements and his net worth there’s very little substance to what he preaches. Deion’s message, by example is… Glorify thyself at all possible opportunities. Denigrate all who dissent. Embrace opulence and materialism, but proclaim your humbleness in front of god. And deny any responsibility for your mistakes. This is what Deion preaches by example, and if that’s something you want to defend and hold up as admirable… by all means.

Because some people believe everything they read on the internet is the gospel. Hell half the stuff you read on here about the athletic teams and players is absolutely not correct.

I will offer my opinion. Don't get married unless you are planning to have kids and don't rush into it either way. Be engaged a few years and live together. I say this as someone who is happily married for 22 years with two kids. The world has evolved enough that just being permanently engaged is fine and takes away the unnecessary financial risks if things go wrong.
I told all of my boys.....take your time get your ahit together sow some oats, get squared away.......the women will be waiting when you are ready. Worked for 2 out of 3 of them. There's that.

That is good advice.

No one thinks they are marrying anything other than "The One" but the simple fact is that tons of girls out there just like your wife and tons of guys out there just like your husband.

Younger generation feels the need to share everything on social media and the internet is forever

All due respect but neither of these answered my actual question hahah, is she famous? How do people know things about her?

I never proclaimed him a role model.. Never. I also said he has made some mistakes with his kids (what parents haven't). I said IMO he's not sure he's a bad PARENT.

You can not like his values and beliefs in regards to life itself and still appreciate what he was able to do for his kids. At least I can. Coming from where I do a bad parent is nothing something that he would fit the description of.. We all grow up differently and seen different levels of everything. Where you come from your perspective is likely night and day from mine. That's also ok..

Would I call him a role model? Of course not but I'm a 50+ year old man. But again there are a lot of other things and people being glorified in my community that are a lot less worthy that are deemed that way. Again it's all relative.

No. My wife was a gem. I knew it when I met her. It was her fault for falling for me. She was smoking hot. That's what got her the date. She was even more beautiful on the inside. That's why I married her. Her character was off the charts. Lucky me.

I'm with you boxes. My wife and I have been friends since I was 15 and she was 12. Now I'm 71 and she's 68 we've always been great together because the whole is better than the parts. Been married 49 years and it continues to get better and better.

When you know, you just know, right?
