That one stung but Iowa can’t feel great about their team. Changing OCs did nothing for their offense. At some point they’re going to run out of luck playing the way they do. Their QB fumbled twice on one play and both times the ball bounced back up in to his hands. Odds are that that isn’t going to keep happening for them.

Iowa played a 4th string walk-on QB. The offense definitely made some strides this year but mostly due to Kaleb Johnson and the running game. There’s good talent to replace Johnson (prob not at the same level tho), but the passing game needs to improve for sure. The new OC definitely showed some flash but it wasn’t sustained all season long. The hope is another year of installment and with development in skill position players.

He has signed a 3 year deal. Not sure if he is still in Lincoln but I'd doubt FSU doesn't want him recruiting RN.
