Iowa played a 4th string walk-on QB. The offense definitely made some strides this year but mostly due to Kaleb Johnson and the running game. There’s good talent to replace Johnson (prob not at the same level tho), but the passing game needs to improve for sure. The new OC definitely showed some flash but it wasn’t sustained all season long. The hope is another year of installment and with development in skill position players.

I didn't think he was as bad as people say. Had almost 500 receiving yards and team high 5 rec TD.
He exceled against the crap teams
1 TD, 178 yards, 25 yard average/game in the last 7 games
Planned on coming back. Confirms White IMO, or confirms he's trying to stay ahead of it all at least.
He has signed a 3 year deal. Not sure if he is still in Lincoln but I'd doubt FSU doesn't want him recruiting RN.
He might get to attend school in every region in the country at this rate.

He would be a huge upgrade and no doubt would give us fits.
That whole team was a disaster this year. I watched a couple of their games. Their coach was hired somewhat late and I think they had a lot of defections from an already crappy team.
The hard part over the next few weeks, for fans, will be knowing who was asked to leave and who the staff wanted back. If I had to bet, I would say we are 50/50 at this point.

Haven't we had enough players coming in off injuries that wasted a spot on the roster?
Hell, we brought in a promising TE from LSU who was supposed to be a dynamite blocker only to find out he had a torn ACL? and couldn't even play for this season.
At least bring in kids that aren't coming off a season ending injury in the recent past.
Seems like we would have learned our lesson with Teddy and Corcoran and the annual injuries they have.
