I could see him returning to texas and having a prolific career in a pass-first sun belt-type offense (UTEP, Texas St, UTSA, etc.)
Those dummies Frost had on staff were cluelessWow.. we really had no talent
He was a backup plan after they struck out on their first choice. He’s a big smart strong armed guy who could probably play at the P5 level in a pro style offenseThose dummies Frost had on staff were clueless

LOLWe over rate everybody but our O linemen it seems. I’ve said that for years.
No P5 team thought so...He was a backup plan after they struck out on their first choice. He’s a big smart strong armed guy who could probably play at the P5 level in a pro style offense
You don’t know that for sure. What would be more accurate to say would be that no P5 team made him an offer he liked. No P5 team thought so...
Especially coming off of an ACL. He looked like a P5 QB in the spring gameBest wishes to him, probably closer to the level that he should have been at to begin with. Tear it up for a couple of years and then re-test the P5 level with some experience.
I remember being at Eppley airport the following morning and IW was waiting for their flight. I talked to the coach about the game. He was as shocked as I was that NU blew like a 10 point lead in the last minute or so. He said sometimes thing just happen that you can't explain.anyone remember Incarnate Word beating us in basketball?
Sure. By all means ignore actual reality and make up an imaginary narrative to fit your argument. I'll bet he was fielding all kinds of P5 offers he didn't like. You don’t know that for sure. What would be more accurate to say would be that no P5 team made him an offer he liked.
We have no idea who offered him if any. That’s the point. No need to trash the kid on the way out.Sure. By all means ignore actual reality and make up an imaginary narrative to fit your argument. I'll bet he was fielding all kinds of P5 offers he didn't like.
It's not trashing him to say he's not a P5 quarterback. It's reality. We have no idea who offered him if any. That’s the point. No need to trash the kid on the way out.
With the portal it might be too early to tell for sure what he’ll be in 2 years. It's not trashing him to say he's not a P5 quarterback. It's reality.
Yeah, he might be a used car salesman. Or he might be a P5 quarterback. Currently he's neither. With the portal it might be too early to tell for sure what he’ll be in 2 years.
Yep, beat Tim Miles Husker team..anyone remember Incarnate Word beating us in basketball?
The vast majority of P5 teams run offenses for which Torres isn’t a great fit. I think his options were limited based on that more than everything else. Which is how Frost’s light recruiting band of slackers were able to sign him to begin with. You don’t know that for sure. What would be more accurate to say would be that no P5 team made him an offer he liked.
