geez for really a pretty lucky start to the season - you guys are a bit obnoxious to say the least - ou barely beat ISU - you need quite a bit of luck to beat Pitt and you need Wi to fumble a snap on your 2 yd line to beat WI
I know Iowa has absolutely sucked as of late but that team is a long way from having anything to crow about
some use these forums for fun, and i find enjoyment. Sometimes I'm even compelled to post, when calling bs. you are full of it on this one.
I have watched every Iowa and Nebraska game this year...start to finish. I have watched our big red lose time and time again in excruciating fashion, against opponents that are l really pedestrian. Across the river beyond a few mouth breathers that talk crap in these forums, you have a team and staff that isn't squawking, just rolling up their sleeves and getting things done.
For those interested in cutting through the bs, here is what I saw in the Iowa games this year - isu had 4 first downs the entire second half, and Iowa had nearly 300 yds of offense the second half. Yes, Iowa scored late to make it a 2 td game. My eye balls saw nothing that resembled Iowa barely winning.
Iowa wasn't lucky to beat a Pitt team that I think all will see will be fairly tough this year. Unless you consider giving up 17 points to pitt off of turnovers and special teams play lucky. I saw a team answer two Pitt scoring drives with ones of their own.
Yes Iowa got a red zone fumble against Wisky. It was caused by a defensive end that grew up closer to Lincoln than Iowa City that wasn't recruited by Nebraska, lining up over center, and pushing a multiple year starting guard from wisconsin into Stave prior to getting to a running back. Did Iowa get breaks or make them vs bucky, I guess it depends upon the lens you watch games.
