Do you think Miami Fla would have beaten Nebraska in Kansas City in 1984 where they played the Orange Bowl ?

Look how many times USC has beaten Big 10 teams in the Rose Bowl, can’t tell me that didn’t matter under those circumstances..

Like I said it’s a two way street playing one another..

and all those USC rose bowl wins now count for the B1G

this is not a fact, this is your feelings: The fact is, is that the sample size is so small because the SEC won't risk their reputation.

Looks like OSU has a home and home with Bama in 2028/2029 and then OSU has a home and home with Georgia in 2030/2031. Georgia goes to UCLA in 2025 I think. I think that a home and home is a better indicator of how good these teams are then a 1 game neutral site. I would have to look into any other games later.

Only time Arkansas has played a power5 school was 2005 and 2006 away from the South region of the country was against USC..

Last time they played a B1G team they stuck their neck out to play Northwestern in 1981 when they were playing in the SWC..

arkansas tried. michigan backed out & now clearly prefer to either cancel the entire season or play UCONN instead of an SEC opponent.

Wisconsin has a home and home with Bama starting this fall. Wisconsin also has a home and home with Pitt and a game with ND. Plus a home and home with UCLA that will obviously be cancelled.

Haven't made it any further with other teams.
 
Michigan has a home and home with Texas and OU starting in 2024. Then a game with Washington in 2028 IIRC.

Looks like some good non-conference games coming up.

What's the road game Duke plays that's not tournament related.

One tournament is 2 games so according to your brilliance Duke leaves Cameron about twice in the non confetence.

Compared to 6 different home games.

1) He is not a long time poster on this board, he joined this board a year and a half ago.

2) He consistently rails against our school and its administrative decisions. Like this tournament that he started a thread about.

3) He constantly bashes the B1G conference. It’s the conference we are in get on board or go find another team to root for, but he doesn’t need to he is a fan of another team, that has chosen to troll our board.

4) The final point against him and the most important is, that he keeps talking up Heinrich Haarberg. Don’t get me wrong we all hope everyone who dons the scarlet & cream is successful. But true Husker fans know that if Heinrich wins the starting job or even locks down the backup role something has gone wrong in our program.

Now he could be a fan of any of number of former conference foes, but my money is on the KSU Mildcats. He has chosen King Kong as his username, his avatar is of King Kong atop the Empire State Building which is in Manhattan, KSU is in Manhattan KS, and Manhattan KS is known as the Little Apple. It is time to stop validating this troll.

@Mrs.Jeans15 should have been more specific about Duke playing true road non conference game’s away from Cameron which I believe was the meaning. .In 22-23 Duke played 0 such games..

I guess your point is valid, they haven’t made the Final Four in the last 4 years. Of course there was no tournament in 2020, the B1G had 6 teams in the Top 25 that year so it wouldn’t have been shocking for them to get a team to the Final Four.

if you don't hate the B1G, you're not a Nebraska fan. this conference has done nothing but treat us like shit while acting like it invented college football & winning a lot less than it settles multi-million dollar lawsuits for diddling students and/or actively participating in racism throughout its history.

everyone I know has been laughing at the B1G for being a pretender league forever. just because we're in it now means I have to act like you & sniff its asshole at every turn? pass. F*CK this league & every one of its members & fans literally forever.

if our administration has done anything to applaud lately, I must've missed it

and Haarberg has already locked down the backup job. get on board or go find another team to root for

No. The basketball event was somewhat legit. The coach is kind of a joke, though. One more year and go to... something..If not, fire his sorry ass. Pretty cut and dry.

The Big 10 has definitely treated us like shit. But so did the Big 12. The difference is a bunch of Big 12 members were supposed to be our friends. We also haven't lived up to our end. We were supposed to at least be good at football. We haven't been good at anything but volleyball. That's on us.

No title in 23 years deapite putting 7-8 teams in the tourney every year...one team makes up 1/3rd of that entire 26 year span you posted. Tough to argue the greatness of an entire league when one team makes up that much of a list. You didn't touch on the fact no league puts more teams in the dance year after year, and then fails at a higher rate to get past the first weekend. Without looking it up it feels like we start with eight teams, then have one or two still be there come Sunday evening. Especially in recent times. Maybe its more...but again, not looking it up.

I still think the league is a paper tiger and I think your list proves that. I'd like to see somebody from our conference win another title again and get that monkey off our back because like it or not...the league has a rep now about toruney time...and it ain't a good one.

He is a Nebraska fan, but holds the biggest grudge against anything B1G..

FWIW, Bart Torvik ranks Duquesne at No. 57 overall and No. 2 in the Atlantic 10 in his preseason rankings for 2023-24. Nebraska is at No. 45, good for No. 10 in the Big Ten. Rider and Stony Brook are No. 245 and No. 277, respectively.

Nope, he's just full of shit as always and can't handle he was called out, but since he likes moving the candle go ahead and apply that pre season to North Carolina, Kansas, and Kentucky about true road games.
