Things getting interesting, as Spieth is having a bit of a meltdown.

But he bounces right back with a birdie and an eagle. That was impressive.

Was hoping Kuchar would finally get his major but it just seems like he lacks the ability to make the big shot. Solid player but rarely pulls off the spectacular that it seems like you need to win a major

Kuchar had a nice up-and-down from the sand to get that birdie on 15. But Spieth dropping in that eagle bomb pretty much took the air out of him. Don't see him rallying now.

It was a nice up and down. But when you're battling for a major, nice rarely brings the trophy home. Spectacular eagle putts bring it home. Kuchar needed a birdie when Speith was taking his third shot from the driving range on 13. Instead he got a par and left the door open. Kuchar just can't close.

Spieth telling his caddy to go grab his ball after holing that eagle, savage confidence. Glad an American won The Open after Willett, and Sergio took home green jackets.

The way Spieth came back over adversity to win the British Open was remarkable.

Well done, Jordan.

Kuchar played a hell of a fourth round. Spieth just put on an epic run after the errant shot on 13. Makes a miracle bogey save then goes birdie, eagle, birdie, birdie down the stretch. That isn't Kuchar not being clutch, that is simply an elite player playing at peak levels when it matters.

It was something special to see.

Kuchar played solid golf today. Like usual. Solid golf doesn't win majors. Which is why he has none.

When Spieth gets hot with his putter, there's nobody better. He was unconscious those last few holes. Hard not to root for him. Kuchar would have been a great champ as well. Two really good guys.
