You described yourself perfectly, good job!

Nope. I don't think Iowa should be able to claim 2005 because they lost the head to head against Michigan. Try again.
2002, they never played OSU and both went undefeated so what do you do there?
Listen, I'm not here downplaying Nebraska since joining the Big Ten. I'm simply defending your assertions toward Iowa. I gave more credit to Nebraska than the article.
One last thing, I'd like to believe you about how the conference views "ties" but you haven't shown anything yet. My post included Iowa finishing on top of Nebraska in years they "tied" because Iowa won head to head. Even in years Nebraska had more overall wins. Do you have a link to the official B1G page? Thanks.
Yes it is, especially in Iowa City.Talent is rising, especially on the lines.
Summed up well. Nebraska and Iowa are definitely middling programs. The best proof is both fan bases on here arguing back-and-forth about who has accomplished an inch more than nothing since Nebraska joined the Big Ten. The only difference is Nebraska "had" a great past, but today if you walk out of either of the states and talk about good college football, neither program will come up in the conversation.I spent way too many years posting on message boards, including Iowa's board. I've just kinda given up, as I realized I'll never change someone's opinion. Pretty much impossible. That includes posters on our board.
We're all guilty (myself certainly included) of having our biases. It's sometimes fun to argue, but I have enough trouble with our own fans sometimes, I don't feel the need to try to argue with the fan of another team.
Really, Iowa and Nebraska are middling programs right now. No amount of argument will change that.
