The Huskers received 16 points in the AP Top 25 Preseason Poll, which was released today.

Big Ten teams included in the Top 25:
2. Ohio State
3. Oregon
8. Penn State
9. Michigan
23. USC
25. Iowa

Other Big Ten teams receiving votes: Washington 23, Nebraska 16, Wisconsin 15.
