Love my Royals, but that team is limping into the playoffs. The whole team has forgotten how to hit. They won’t last long.
Who cares. I am life long Royals fan I am 60 . They lost 100 games last year. Give them credit and celebrate the playoffs.
Exactly! Making the playoffs is a huge accomplishment. Get in and take your chances. But what an amazing season. 106 losses last year, then holding a playoff spot for all but a handful of days the entire season this year. They may get swept by the Astros in the WC round, but what a great season, great turn-around, and great reward.

Lugo is actually better. The starting rotation has been the reason for the whole turnaround and has to be among the best in the league collectively. Outside of Witt, they just can’t hit.
There offense took a turn south after Vinnie went on the shelf.
It did. And maybe some team chemistry was affected. They certainly miss his bat.
