I don't think that you know what disingenuous means. I am not being dishonest (that is what it means), literally before that 2 month "break" teachers were heroes.

You parents LOST your minds! I don't blame you! (this is how you know I am being honest) kids are ANNOYING 24/7, I totally get it. It would have just been great if you dongs admitted that! Just say "Oh my god, teachers, PLEASE, no more remote learning, you really are heroes, are kids are annoying AF, we can't do this 24/7"
You don't homeschool your kids, you go to work, right? Be honest.
I think most jobs were back to working by August of that year. Restaurants were open, all retail was operational, football games were full of fans - but some teachers didn’t want to do their job and people were annoyed.
I’m sure some of the outrage had to do with having the kids home. The other concerns were kids falling behind and the virtual learning was a joke - not because of anyone’s effort but rather there was no tried and true method of instruction.

I never said that. Among other things, I object to kids being taught damaging lies as if it is truth, while at the same time not able to speak out against it.

I have had maybe 5-10 trans kids the last 10 years in classes. Always girls to boys. The kids and others in classes were always awesome towards the klds. Zero issues in class at all. Its the adults that seem to have the issues. The ones outside of the buildings. Nowhere is trans identity being taught or really even talked about. People just seem to go about their day learning the usual curriculum.
Agree with at home productivity and so do many large companies as they are making calls to get people back to work.
I haved worked from home for 14 years, long before it was cool. When I go into the office, 1/3 of my day is wasted.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVED it, but, I woke up about 3 minutes before "work", I ran errands, I napped, I went to the gym, I went to appointments, I went shopping, I went for walks, I basically did all the shit I wanted to do.
I know the work from home dorks love to be like "When I go to the office I get less done because people bother me" but clearly that is BS. It is not like the work from home dorks are telling their friends "Guess what, now that I work from home, I am actually doing MORE for my company"

I am sure there are some people disciplined enough for it to be a benefit to work from home. The larger majority I’m sure is less productive.
I guess it depends on the situation. Some jobs could probably be done 100% remote. Others could be hybrid and others no possible way. You can't run a metal shear from home or flip a burger from home.
I guess if I was the boss I wouldn't mind giving certain employees the ability to be hybrid. In return I would expect them to take their computer with them on vacations and weekends to be available in an emergency or check in atleast 1 time per day for important messages
When my team is on vacation I want them to unplug, refresh and focus on family and friends.
If you have good metrics to track productivity working from home can be effective.
I think flexible remote work is the best for most people. There are times where my wife's work wants her to put in extra hours of computer work. She usually does that from home. She doesn't want to sit at the office until 8pm and not see the kids, but she's willing to sit on the couch and do it. Same for a kids dentist appointment at 10 am. She can get in a couple hours of computer work before taking them.
95% of my work hours are work related, plus I work longer, earlier and later and a little on weekends, because I don't have to commute and it's right there.
Not everyone can do it well. I do.
I do not remember teachers being called "heroes" during the beginning of covid. Why would they? Teaching remotely didn't make them heroic.
In fall of 2020 into 2021, parents didn't want their kids at home anymore, not because they were annoyed with them at home, but people started to realize that their kids were going to start seriously suffering with remote learning and still not being able to go out and do anything else. The covid psychos still wanted everything shut down but would concede, somewhat, with schools being opened back up (again, due to kids learning & social wellbeing).
At this point, I do remember many lefties & teachers union start calling teachers "heroes" because they were now "exposing themselves in front of dozens of kids, therefore in grave danger." People were starting to wake up to the Covid bs that healthy people under the age of 65 were almost completely safe ESPECIALLY nearly all school aged kid. This is where teachers became the "bad guys".
The only teachers that were actual heroes were those who didn't complain about going back to school, who didn't force social distancing & masks in class rooms and those teachers over the age of 65 (because they were actually at a higher risk worth being concerned over).
Front line for working behind a computer at first? Then front line with forced social distancing, masks and in many cases, plexiglass around elementary students desks? From something that kids were hardly even testing positive for, lol.
