Texas, Michigan St, LSU, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Missouri, NC St, Florida St and USC, in addition to Ohio St and Nebraska.
And for the record, I didn't play any games. The Nebraska football team played 13 though. And do you know Ryan Day personally? Calling him Ryan like yall are tippin' back some suds. ha ha ha
Shall I list all the new pieces, including coaches? Or can you figure out why I posted what I did?
This team is not going to come out of the gate and light teams on fire. If you haven’t watched Nebraska Football and their first game the last two decades, then you’ve been in a hobbit hole. Now, add in all these new pieces (players, coaches, scheme) and there’s a “chance” we will lose to Cincinnati.
And I never said we “were” going to lose to Cincinnati, I said “I could see us losing.”

I don't expect them to be as good as they will be late in the season.
But this will not be the same offense as last year and we have more time to learn our offense.
Struggling out the gate is unacceptable.

I do question our backfield, as it will be the same as last year… Buford, Hartzog, Wright, and Singleton. How often did they get beat last year.? And the guy coaching them is now our D-coordinator…?? We do have a newcomer, maybe he can replace Hartzog?
Been years since we had a real coach. With .500 Matt, don't get your hopes up. However, It is Matt's 3rd year and magic will happen. That is what we have heard for three straight years. Magic year 3. Apparently that is why he was hired. Prove it, Matt Hopefully he does prove it with the easiest schedule in 29 years. Will he ? You know how this will play out ( well, some of you know.) 1-2 years, back to square one. Hopefully the dipshit administration will learn at some point. Been waiting 24 years, and I am guessing I will wait 1-2 years more before anything resembling a football team will be on the field. Oh well.

Chuck every year can not be the easiest schedule. It’s impossible. It seems you say every offseason is this year’s the easiest schedule. You move the goal post way too much to be taken seriously.
Blye Hill and the portal kid from Idaho will compete with Ceyair Wright at corner and I don’t think we will see Buford or Hartzog at corner unless there is injury. The portal kid from Georgia looks to be a safety. My question is which DBs are they looking at for the Rover psn? If Javin Wright didn’t have the blood issue, he would be ideal. Big rangy kid who has played DB and LB, is athletic and has a nose for the football.
I think we will be better on offense and special teams but worse on defense. How will that play out I have no clue. However that plays I don't think playing in a spring game or not playing a spring game will factor in.

We were never playing Tennessee in 2025 . The games were 26and 27 . But as a POS Iowa fan you probably didn’t realize that before you posted and made yourself look even dumber.

I wasn't talking about THIS years schedule. The one that starts in 5 months. I was talking about NEXT years schedule (2026). Then again, I don't really give a shit anyway.
I agree with most of what you're saying, but people don't want to live in negative land, and me either for that matter (it is so easy to do with Nebraska football the past decade.. yes, it's nearly a decade now of rock bottom). I hope Matt is successful, and I think he will be this year, but it will be his last at NU. He will take another job at the end of the year I predict. I think Nebraska's future really changes after Tom leaves us and some enterprising young coach rebuilds a run dominant identity. Until then, grin and bear it seems to be the best way to cope.
