Why do you get so worked up about hypothetical results? You are literally making excuses, in March, for losing a game to Cincinnati that is 5 months away. Playing in front of a crowd and a meaningless intra squad scrimmage, where the 3rd and 4th stringers will play more than the starters, that is how you think the Cincinnati game will be won or lost?

I see your Dabo Swiney and raise you a Ryan Day. He is 70-10 and won a title and played for another, has never finished outside the top 10 and he isn't playing a traditional scrimmage to end the spring.

And for the record, I didn't play any games. The Nebraska football team played 13 though. And do you know Ryan Day personally? Calling him Ryan like yall are tippin' back some suds. ha ha ha

This team is not going to come out of the gate and light teams on fire. If you haven’t watched Nebraska Football and their first game the last two decades, then you’ve been in a hobbit hole. Now, add in all these new pieces (players, coaches, scheme) and there’s a “chance” we will lose to Cincinnati.

And I never said we “were” going to lose to Cincinnati, I said “I could see us losing.”
