The ending could have been scary, but overall it was a great game where the defense was again great

But it wasn't. Like the defense, the offense moved the ball with first downs when they were needed to close a big win while you were scared.

If you knew him he was a different guy privately. Went to the wall for his players too obviously.

I didn't know him well but know a few people who did.

I have heard that. I coached with a guy that coached with him and knew him very very well. He loved him, only had great things to say about him.

I did not know him at all except for coaching at the very end of his career.

Back on topic - what I love about this team is the fact that they are terrible in so many ways, but keep winning. After watching Riley and Frost teams, if you find the need to minimize these wins you are one miserable person. This roster/offense/program is nowhere near what Rhule envisions - yet they win. I am getting so freaking pumped to actually get to watch Nebraska in a bowl game this year!

The offense will get better this season. Just think of all the new faces that were getting their first significant action today. Improvement is inevitable.

Offense already looked better today to me today that last week. But also NW might actually be really good on defense I can't tell in this league anymore.

Nobody should be livid, but yes some will be. By now, everyone should know what we have. Haarberg’s passing is improving. We won’t beat any good teams with this offense but there are no good teams left on the schedule.

PU players are kind of assholes, lots of late hits and punching. They also suck and they clearly will be lucky to win 6 games in 3 out out 4 years. They were just Dbags. It was weird.

I am sure that one PU fan will tell me I am wrong, but as usual, I am not

Yeah, I wasn't sure how much of it would get seen on TV but at the game it was super evident. I guess even before the game the PU players were warming up and being assholes
