I despise “take” fouls that give you six for the half. Save one for a final drive to the basket, and foul the guy while on the floor. Once NU got to six fouls, they were afraid to defend at all.
Right on que: put CJ in at end of half. Other team picks on him (no pun intended), and Huskers give up an easy 2. Those points matter when we keep losing games by one possession. So it’s the coaches that are unaware
I’ve said this many times. We do this because our guards lack quickness. No way can our guards stay in front of the opposing team’s guards.I mean, I'm not so clueless to think I know more about basketball than they do, but at some point there's a reason why no team in the conference switches and doubles as much as we do.
They're obviously playing defense how the coaches want them to and it's entirely dependent on the other teams missing 3's. Only problem? It doesn't work outside of 2-3 conference games per year. Everyone shoots well enough when left completely open.

Amazing how they compliment a "moving" pickHilarious them highlighting Iowa's illegal screen that wasn't called.
This is not the case against Iowa. Stick any of our better athletes, even Uhlis or Rollie on Harding and we’d be fine.I’ve said this many times. We do this because our guards lack quickness. No way can our guards stay in front of the opposing team’s guards.
I agree. Any foul then puts you at the line. Save them.I despise “take” fouls that give you six for the half. Save one for a final drive to the basket, and foul the guy while on the floor. Once NU got to six fouls, they were afraid to defend at all.
Massive fail if they don’t. Next year is make or break again for FH.Only Nebrasketball could find a way to miss the conference tournament with the league’s leading scorer. Takes an exceptional brand of dipshittery to maneuver that one. Well done fellas…
If they lose today he should be gone. But he won’t be. Iowa on the other hand will likely fire the winningest coach in program history with a loss today. Or a “retirement”Massive fail if they don’t. Next year is make or break again for FH.

Ya, it’s an ugly time for the big three. What pull does AD Dannen have to make changes? Bolt ball hasn’t exactly stated on fire this year.Go figure another men's team in Lincoln.. blah, blah, blah. I got work to do.
Can't stop caring fast enough.
Isn’t that on the coach?Only Nebrasketball could find a way to miss the conference tournament with the league’s leading scorer. Takes an exceptional brand of dipshittery to maneuver that one. Well done fellas…
Yea- & the roster assembled. It’s bad.Isn’t that on the coach?
Exactly right. Yet with the exception of last season that has been a staple of Hoiberg’s teams here. Stand and watch.Game still very winnable if someone would move without the damn ball.
Morgan at least know enough to move to an open spot and make himself available. Everyone else seems content to stand and watch.Iowa is doubling Brice. I never understood why more teams didn’t do that. We have no one else who can step up.

It's baseball season, that's my positive. And no, I'm not talking about Nebraska baseball!Searching for anything positive, I’ve come up with this:
We will be well rested for the Crown invitational with having next week off.
So does our offense. Thanks color guy for the detailed explanation of why our defense sucks.
Exactly. No help from his supporting cast. Unfortunately in this case it is a team sport. The weakness of our roster shos up again.Iowa is doubling Brice. I never understood why more teams didn’t do that. We have no one else who can step up.
Actually how do you not make a move . We will lose to the worst road team in the Big at home knowing we had to win to make the tournament.I wouldn’t be totally heartbroken if Dannen pulled the plug after this epic meltdown. Don’t see that happening, but the magnitude of our failure in the 2nd half of this season is legendary. And this is coming from a program who knows failure better than anyone.
I'm hoping Fred quits. I put the chance of Dannen making a change a 0.0%Actually how do you not make a move . We will lose to the worst road team in the Big at home knowing we had to win to make the tournament.
I don’t know if AD has the power to make a move this year. Another bad year maybe.I'm hoping Fred quits. I put the chance of Dannen making a change a 0.0%
Fred ain’t walking away from nearly $20 millionI'm hoping Fred quits. I put the chance of Dannen making a change a 0.0%
