Yeah you do. You delete and reprimand super benign stuff all of the time, and ban posters, yet you let idiots like Hawkins post all kinds of crap and do nothing. I agree that I prefer to just talk football on here but the mods on this site are starting to get nuts. It's nowhere near the carnage it used to be. A lot of these posts are just current events and the OT thread should be able to have that.

And that alone rarely happens.
I've been doing this for 15 years and if you don't count Redmich alts (or anyone else who's permanently removed from the site), I probably average 2-3 bans per year. And then half the time if the person is nice about it and messages me I'll work out something else.
Hell there has been many times where I will advocate on a person's behalf who was banned by another moderator. I've argued against permaban for other posters, sometimes successfully sometimes unsuccessfully.
I don't want to ban people, it's kind of a silly thing really. But at some point posters need to take accountability for themselves and if they want to participate in a privately owned website, they have to understand that they are subject to the rules that the owners set forth.
Anymore the rules are pretty basic, no politics no religion, maybe no blatant racist comments, and you're good.
If you banned as many people as I have in my Ignore Hopper, then you'd really be an unpopular guy. LOL
My thoughts are yes they because you get nothing in return. Ticket donations USED to be partially deducted but not now because it gives you the right to tickets
Opposite for a lot of us. We've been paying the "donation" for decades while watching shit football. The "donation" is more then 50% of the ticket cost. Can't make it to a game? Good luck recouping face value before this year, let alone the real cost.
Taxable portion went away during the tax overhaul of I believe 2017. Up until then you could deduct 80%.
HOWEVER, I thought I read that donations could still be tax deductible IF you don't want or tie them to tickets. So therefore nil should be deductible at a percentage also I believe
