I know both the spring game and Tennessee home and home being cancelled has been discussed. But in the video below a Tennessee perspective asks if Rhule even cares about Husker fans. He also has some advice on no SEC team ever scheduling Nebraska again. Do you as a fan agree?

Who cares what TN Thinks. Is it really all Rhule? No.I know both the spring game and Tennessee home and home being cancelled has been discussed. Neither. Fan of college football in general. But if you want to know my precise team , it's Kentucky. Our football program sucks and I enjoy laughing at Tennessee. I've always had respect for Nebraska as a program and their fan base.First, why don’t you tell us if you as a Tennessee fan (or maybe an Iowa fan) agree?
I enjoy hearing both sides of the story. I know series get cancelled all the time for various reasons, but it usually happens at least a calendar year before the game is to be played. I can understand why some would speculate Nebraska might be following the Indiana method of getting a playoff bid.Tennesse AD refused to accommodate Nebraska’s request after Nebraska made changes in the past to appease Tennessee. Now he gets to take center stage and act like a crybaby. In hindsight Nebraska should have refused to do that for 2016.
Everyone knows d1 football is all about business now….anyone that refuses to accept the things that go along with that (such as needing to hit necessary levels of income from home games) is acting on emotions.
Kentucky. Ok. We see where this is coming from. Toddddstrong, we already discussed this in another thread. Go home, do some meth, and let us know how your new WR coach is doing with his new flock.Neither. Fan of college football in general. But if you want to know my precise team , it's Kentucky. More of a bourbon guy myself. As far as our coaching staff I don't really see any of them being the elixir to getting Mark Stoops another year. Twelve million dollar buyout or not.Kentucky. Ok. I think Vols AD just wants to make Nebraska look bad and make themselves look like they were the ones that didn’t want it canceled..I figured Tennessee would be happy, now they could schedule another cupcake like their fellow SEC schools
Probably close to 3 million for a home game.More of a bourbon guy myself. As far as our coaching staff I don't really see any of them being the elixir to getting Mark Stoops another year. Twelve million dollar buyout or not.
If Tennessee did this to Nebraska with the timeframe and reasoning, would you look at it the same way? Nebraska has to buyout the series and they have to pay Bowling Green and Miami Ohio to play at Lincoln right? Financially does the extra home game next year make the program a significant amount of money?
Future of the game. My only hope is we don't lose big time regular season games like Texas vs Ohio State or Oklahoma vs Michigan going forward.Don’t like it. But it’s done and over with and I’ve moved on.
What is the buyout amount and how much does Bowling Green get? I know Kentucky used to give Sun Belt teams anywhere from 250 to 500 K.Probably close to 3 million for a home game.
Nebraska has Oklahoma scheduled for 2029-2030..Future of the game. My only hope is we don't lose big time regular season games like Texas vs Ohio State or Oklahoma vs Michigan going forward.
They only have 1 of their 4 non con games for 2026 on their schedule. Mighty FurmanI figured Tennessee would be happy, now they could schedule another cupcake like their fellow SEC schools
I think this is pretty much the correct feeling(s)No, I am not furious, and also I don't care at all

The B1G plays 9 conference games and they want the SEC to go to 9 games as well. The SEC coaches and General Managers don't want to do that. So the B1G may send the memo to the SEC that the B1G will just schedule an extra cupcake instead of an SEC opponent. Getting to the playoffs is and should be the ultimate goal of Nebraska.
OU is not cancelling a game with Huskers because TN thinks they shouldNebraska has Oklahoma scheduled for 2029-2030..
Our fans will really be upset if that one gets canceled be interesting what will happen down the road.
It was another, in a long line, of bitch ass moves, and I got over all the other one's too. Not like imma stop cheering for my team.
EventsWhen you realize that your coaches manhood is softer then his belly, then what can you do? Stop being a fan? Na. Take the shit people rightfully mock your team for. You didn’t hide. You’re not the bitch. That wasn’t your fault.
Mike Riley some how appears masculine now.
Yes. Matt Rhule is responsible for everything including the basketball teams loss last night.Events
Series agreed to in the mid-aughts.
TN post-poned with NU's agreement in order to stage a one-off game at a race track.
NU proposes a second pause (a request to reciprocate the delay given to TN) in order to deal with stadium renovations and TN nixes that.
NU cancels.
Spinner's conclusion - This is Matt Rhule's fault.
My viewpoint - Until cross conference play is instituted for all B1G and SEC teams, I don't give a shit who NU plays in the first three weeks of the season. And until the SEC stops scheduling late season 1AA teams, what they think about NU and B1G conference scheduling means nothing to me.

Yep and it all stems from his love of Joe Paterno.Yes. Matt Rhule is responsible for everything including the basketball teams loss last night.
