From NU Media Relations:
Nebraska fans have a unique opportunity to purchase season tickets at Memorial Stadium. Beginning today, the public will have the opportunity to secure their season tickets for the first season of the Mike Riley era by visiting Huskers.com.
Individuals interested in purchasing any of the remaining available seats in Memorial Stadium can go to Huskers.com/tickets or call the Nebraska Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-8-BIG RED.
The majority of the approximately 1,500 remaining season tickets are available as season tickets for the first time in 2015 due to a change in the visiting team allotment at Memorial Stadium.
Prior to this season, 4,000 tickets were held for the visiting team. However, due to Big Ten Conference visiting team ticket requirements and non-conference game contracts, that allotment has been reduced to 3,000 visiting team tickets, putting additional seats into the season ticket pool.
Season tickets are $399 for the seven-game ticket package. Ticket buyers must pay by credit card at the time of purchase. For seats that require a donation, fans purchasing over the phone can pay that amount at the time of purchase. On-line buyers will be billed for their donation shortly after purchase.
The 2015 home schedule features five opponents who participated in a bowl game last season, beginning with the opener against BYU on Sept. 5. The Big Ten Conference home schedule features matchups with Wisconsin, Northwestern, Michigan State and Iowa. Nebraska’s NCAA-record sellout streak at Memorial Stadium stands at 340 games heading into the 2015 campaign.
