Satterfield “Must get in the mindset” to run

This guy takes the phrase “Nobody actually knows they are doing” a little too literally. How does bro not have imposter syndrome?

I have had coaches I worked with that obsessed over stats and others that probably could not even tell you the final score. So who knows.
In baseball I could tell you the count, how many outs, batter and pitcher tendencies, but the score not so much.

I only coached baseball for one year and one guy on staff was just in love with stats. He was such a diehard baseball guy and kind of legend in Omaha. He died a few years back, sadly. Dude just loved baseball.

I found it interesting that Cignetti has been with a lot of his guys for about 10 years. For some reason, Rhule has latched on to some losers. It’s kind of surprising he’s had any kind of success.

Rhule's coaching tree is really pretty impressive. Unfortunately, for some reason, guys like: Joey McGuire, Frisman Jackson, Fran Brown, Jeff Nixon and Elijah Robinson aren't with him at Nebraska.

The reason for this situation is because Rhule has let it become an issue.

Satterfield does not do what Rhule has said he wants the offense to be. So....if Rhule is going to let him run this pathetic offense ...whose fault it it?

Rhule....so far he sucks!

Has he though? His crowning achievement was getting to a game that mattered and then blowing a giant lead against OU.

We averaged 3.7 per run. Last time he checked 3.7 x 3 = 11.1 yards. Run the damned ball. Take some pressure off your freshman QB and make the play action passing game work.
Yep. Less bumping of gums about everything in general, and more of:

1) Run the ball.
2) Stop the run.
3) Win the game.

If you can't do 1 and 2, you haven't recruited properly for this conference.

That’s what I’ve seen in my professional career. Almost entirely hiring strangers, but having the actual skills we need. They might even have an accent and be from a different country. You find the best people by not putting dumb restrictions on who you can hire.
