In baseball I could tell you the count, how many outs, batter and pitcher tendencies, but the score not so much.I have had coaches I worked with that obsessed over stats and others that probably could not even tell you the final score. So who knows.
I only coached baseball for one year and one guy on staff was just in love with stats. He was such a diehard baseball guy and kind of legend in Omaha. He died a few years back, sadly. Dude just loved baseball. In baseball I could tell you the count, how many outs, batter and pitcher tendencies, but the score not so much.
I found it interesting that Cignetti has been with a lot of his guys for about 10 years. For some reason, Rhule has latched on to some losers. It’s kind of surprising he’s had any kind of success.
We averaged 3.7 per run. Last time he checked 3.7 x 3 = 11.1 yards. Run the damned ball. Take some pressure off your freshman QB and make the play action passing game work.
Liked loved. all at once. It's much more effective for Rhule to tell him, "Look, if I have to call you in the pressbox to run the ball, consider it a warning.
If I have to do it the second time, consider it a "resume generating" action.
No, we will complain that they don't know how to coach their players and run a god damn offenseThey will commit to the run, average 2.3 ypc and everyone will complain they ran it to much.
Yes he did and learned wellThe funny thing is that Indiana is his first big boy job. He spent a lot of damn time cutting his teeth.
Has he though? His crowning achievement was getting to a game that mattered and then blowing a giant lead against OU.I found it interesting that Cignetti has been with a lot of his guys for about 10 years. For some reason, Rhule has latched on to some losers. It’s kind of surprising he’s had any kind of success.
Yep. Less bumping of gums about everything in general, and more of:We averaged 3.7 per run. Last time he checked 3.7 x 3 = 11.1 yards. Run the damned ball. Take some pressure off your freshman QB and make the play action passing game work.
“I don’t know what average is but I want it to be a little more than it is now.”
That’s what I’ve seen in my professional career. Almost entirely hiring strangers, but having the actual skills we need. They might even have an accent and be from a different country. You find the best people by not putting dumb restrictions on who you can hire.
It's that type of intellect from your OC that brings out the Rhule lizard during the game.“I don’t know what average is but I want it to be a little more than it is now.”
