I have zero desire to be mistreated (and pay money for it to happen) in Miami. After the '95 season Orange Bowl (National Championship), we walked back to my rental car only to find it up on blocks without tires and the car stereo missing. Why the hell would anyone steal a factory stereo on a 95 Mustang? Oh ya, and they slit the convertible top to get to it. Talk about a buzzkill after winning a MNC and celebrating at the stadium!!! Besides, every time we have played in Miami, we were treated like crap by a bunch of thug Canes fans and we are not the type out looking for trouble.

We ALWAYS attend every home game in Lincoln. Every season, my wife and I pick out one away game (plus usually a bowl each year) to attend. We decided this year on Rutgers. I booked the Radisson Hotel which is only a couple miles at most from the stadium. It was really inexpensive. I think I paid $120 a night for a king bed on Priceline.com. Air into Newark (EWR) was under $300 round trip (nonstop) from Phoenix. Rental cars were cheap too. Got mine on Priceline for $13 a day plus taxes and fees.

I think the last time we played (if my memory serves me correctly) in that part of the world would have been the Kickoff Classic at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, NJ in the 1995 season.

I think it is always fun to go somewhere completely different. It likely will not be warm as we play there November 14th, but think it will be a good time anyway. Like I said... something different!

SO, WHO ELSE IS GOING????????
