Remember ,The OC Rhule wanted at first……

Jake Peetz not Satterfield - wonder if he wants to come home next year…
If he didn't want to leave the Rams to be our OC in 2022 when he was a "passing game specialist" I don't see him leaving his position as passing game coordinator for the Seahawks. Kinda seems like he wants to stay in the NFL.

That's assuming DH doesn't stick around, which I think he very well may for another year or two.

he wanted to Peetz to be the QB coach.

Rhule hired his first choice at OC.
And possibly why Peetz didn't want to be a part...... I have no clue. I do know it's clear that Satt was in way past his head and any good coach had to know that. He is a decent position coach not a coordinator.

I’m not even sure he’s a decent position coach given the new OC has already changed the depth chart at that position.

I thought the obstacle was that his wife didn't want to move to Lincoln. That likely hasn't changed unless he recently got a divorce.

DH needs two solid years of rehabilitation first. Nebraska is just the prescription.

OR, He decides getting rich while not having all of the pressure solely on him isn’t such a bad life.

No he doesn't....if we win the next 2 games and score 40+ in each, some AD somewhere will consider him all fixed up.

Eh, unfortunately I don't think it's that simple. At all. Lots of variables to it that I'm choosing not spend too much time thinking about and just enjoy at least having him the last couple games.

Another fabrication by the chimp. Multiple boosters of substance told me LAST year that Satterfield wasn't his first choice. I haven't asked who was nor do I care now that Holgerson is calling plays.

This doesn't make Rhule sound any better.

I'm not Rhule's cheerleader but I also don't care for people making sh## up just to try to make him look worse.
You make a ton of shit up, so you’re the last person who should be calling other people out for it. Whether Satterfield was Rhule's #1 or whether Rhule wasn't able to attain his #1 makes no effective difference. As we ended up with Satterfield in any case. And I'm not one who thinks Satterfield was the only issue we had on offense. As we still had I think 1 or 2 drops yesterday that would have led to sure touchdowns. We still have some issues to clear up on that end over the off-season.

IF I’m speculating I admit it. Opinions are fine. Continuing to represent something as fact when Dana publicly contradicts it is just lying.

I find it hard to believe Satterfield was the best Offensive Coordinator that Rhule could have gotten with our budget. Satterfield is one of the Top 10 highest paid OCs in all of college football! We're paying him as much or more than Texas, Georgia, Oregon, Miami, etc. are paying their OCs.....even though he's never even produced a Top 50 offense.

Matt Rhule hired 11/26/22
Marcus Satterfield hired 12/1/22

Pretty quick turnaround for a non-1st choice

Also remember Rhule had no backup plan at QB coach

You had MULTIPLE people tell you that and it never occurred to you to ask who it was?

Confused Donald Trump GIF

Outside of an offer ro be a head coach somewhere..why wouldn't DH come back?
He said he was too tired at the beginning of the season to get back into coaching, which is why he only barely worked at TCU even though you know he had other offers.

We have to hope we can sell him on continuing to work full time again. I am hoping having Dylan here plays a big part. A potentially perfect piece of clay he can mold
