There isn’t a single coach on this team that you would be afraid to lose. There are many that you hope will get hired away, but that’s not going to be the case. This is a better version of the Scott Frost years.
I’m going to offer up a different view but there are some players that just need to move on so that the team can get better. The ones that are a part of losing culture don’t have the mindset to win. They simply don’t know how and can’t find a way to win when things get tough.
Frost wouldn’t have gotten his ass kicked this bad. There isn’t a single coach on this team that you would be afraid to lose. There are many that you hope will get hired away, but that’s not going to be the case. This is a better version of the Scott Frost years.

This game is a great example of coaching.
IU does not have superior athletes.
So, the game is showing impactful coaching up and down
Indiana is a well coached team. Even though they are garbage historically, they have put together a solid team. What is shocking is how big of a gap there is between us and them considering what we have to work with. Major failure by our coaches today.Better version? Frost always kept games within one score. Rhule is getting demolished by freaking Indiana.
You can't be serious.I like the the design of his plays. Most of the time it player error that derails drive. I don't always like the way he calls a game. But for the most part I don't have many complaints.
You really think this is an OC problem? You can't be serious.
Satt is very mid as a coordinator. He always has been. He’s never outkicked his coverageYou really think this is an OC problem?
I agree. Meyer was an ass kicker and demanded a lot from his players. I couldn't care less about a lap dance. Please no fat man, to bad urban wasn’t available don’t care what he did in the past he’s a winner
starts at the top with preachy, then up front with our nepotism hire OL coach/run game coordinatorYou really think this is an OC problem?
Honeymoon period is well over for me. Everyone's on the clock. Who's going to show that they're worth a shit and worth keeping beyond this year? The most disappointing thing to me personally is that today is the day that I have lost confidence in our coaching staff collectively, going forward. They have to regain our trust. I don’t know if they will.
Really, you wouldn't take the fat man right now. Please no fat man, to bad urban wasn’t available don’t care what he did in the past he’s a winner
Not just the coaches, the decision makers for this program. I realize the new AD gets a pass for now.The most disappointing thing to me personally is that today is the day that I have lost confidence in our coaching staff collectively, going forward. They have to regain our trust. I don’t know if they will.
True. So why don't we go go get all those transfers instead of three "long build" coaches over nine years that didn't get anything built?Look if Indiana doesn’t have all those transfers like the old days they aren’t 7-0

I like satt
Foley should go
Barthel should go
McGuire should probably as well.

Fat man is beating Michigan and knows running and OL play. And wins in the BigI don't understand this kind of thinking. The Fat Man knows how to win in the Big Ten. Meanwhile, we keep hiring coaches from soft Mickey Mouse conferences who haven't won anything of significance.
They are an overpaid, underachieving, embarrassing, small town carny act.Foley- Rhule buddy
Satterfield- Rhule buddy
Raiola- Only here because he happens to be DR’s uncle
McGuire- nepotism hire
Tony White- not impressed by today's performance but the other two phases aren’t helping.
Great observation and you’re rightSatt isn't using his personnel correctly. He calls plays like he has shifty speedy players all over the field. He doesn't.. He has more big body possession type WRs and TEs so he should be using that size to his advantage. Not to mention he doesn't have an explosive RB that can run to daylight so it's really easy to bottle up his offense especially with no threat of the QB run.
NU essentially operates like the Dallas Cowboys. My biggest issue with our staff/approach is that we aren’t doing anything that gives us a schematic advantage. I just hate the idea that we are going or do incredibly basic things (especially on offense) and win by recruiting or developing better than everyone else.
I gave them a pass last year because we ran the wildcat with hh most of the season, this year yes we have a freshman quarterback but no reason we can’t have a better scheme and playsMy biggest issue with our staff/approach is that we aren’t doing anything that gives us a schematic advantage. WR, special teams, RB play is subpar. Be best to move on from those coaches.
Very good idea there.RB could be a relatively quick-ish fix… Move Ron Brown over… with him coaching RBs back in the day we had Rex & Ameer which was the last time our RBs were respected
You take that back! Uncalled forNU essentially operates like the Dallas Cowboys.
Are loss was as baffling as their loss against Detroit. There are a few other parallels between the two, such as not being relevant since the 90’s and a delusional fanbase that still thinks we’re a powerhouse program. You take that back! Uncalled for
Satterfield’s game plan and play calling were terrible today.I like satt

According to Rhule, they went away from their offensive game plan after the game got away from them.Satterfield’s game plan and play calling were terrible today.
They got buried by that stupid kickoff play. I didn’t see any change in the play calling after that first series. We were throwing it on every first down. Stupid.According to Rhule, they went away from their offensive game plan after the game got away from them.
It’s just a hallmark of our team. Always doing dumb shit. As soon as he caught that ball on the 1, I knew it was over and so did the team. We won’t go anywhere with Rhule. Just look at how we play. It’s not rocket science. They got buried by that stupid kickoff play. I didn’t see any change in the play calling after that first series. We were throwing it on every first down. Stupid.
