I haven't always been a big fan of Reggie as a coach. You never hear much from him and I got tired of backs not playing because they didn't pass pro well enough to suit him.
My attitude started to change last season when someone pointed out the strides Newby made between Jr. and Senior year. After watching the backs in the Spring game, I'm completely on board. My seats were on the 50 in east stadium. So I could see the improved reads and footwork of the backs. I understand the jury's still out on how effective our running game will be but it was fun to watch that footwork in particular.
