Benning for Barta feels like a pretty good trade for Nebraska.

I suspect Benning’s commitment might have played a role in this. Barta is replaceable.
I share your suspicions. I think they recruited over Barta as available numbers begin to squeeze.
Not to be cute but I do on the position he should play! Make sure he gets 12 touches per game of the football!😊😊
This is a kid who I wondered if he would stay committed. With the way this defense attacks he would be crazy to not come here.
