#Rivals250 QB Adrian Martinez out of Fresno (Calif.) Clovis West hosted Nebraska QB coach Mario Verduzco for an in-home visit this evening.

Earlier in the day Martinez, a current Tennessee commit, told me that he and his family would be taking their Nebraska official visit the weekend of Dec. 15. However, after tonight's visit with Coach Verduzco, Martinez let me know he and his family have moved the visit up to this weekend instead.

"(We) changed it to this weekend instead," Martinez said about his Nebraska trip.

Martinez added that tonight's visit was a hit with him and his parents.

"It went really good! (Verduzco) got to meet my family which was awesome," Martinez said.

Some of the first recruits to have been offered by the new Nebraska coaching staff have started to schedule official visits to Lincoln, including four-star junior college defensive back Jeremy Webb.

"I pretty much just got the Nebraska offer, so I'm trying to go up and see those guys, not this weekend, but the following weekend," the Brooklyn (NY) ASA College product relayed. "And then, I have a visit to West Virginia coming up this weekend."

Wedb already officially visited Virginia Tech in November, and he said his final choice will come down to the Huskers, the Hokeys and the Mountaineers.

I'm just looking for the relationship with the coaches, which I need to take into account; secondly, just as far as the position football-wise; I also want to make an impact early. So, the best fit for me to play the way I know how to play the best. Which is, bump and run, playing at the line and being aggressive and physical."

Wedb said that, in addition to assistant coaches from each program, he speaks frequently with head coaches Scott Frost and Justin Fuente.

Wedb will be signing his letter of intent on December 20 and he will enroll for the spring semester at the college of his choice. He has three years of eligibility to complete two seasons of college football on the Division I level.

RB/ATH Anthony Williams

2018 Boutte (La.) Hahnville running back/athlete Anthony Williams tells me Nebraska has offered him. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound speedster has been committed to Kansas for a very long time, but that's not going to stop him from taking an official visit to check out the Huskers this weekend. Williams said his family will be going on the visit with him.

Huskers to host Bell and teammate this weekend

JUCO RB Greg Bell is set to see Nebraska this weekend. Bell picked up the offer from the Huskers a day ago and Bell is very excited about it.

"I feel great about the offer from Nebraska," Bell said. "I believe that coach Frost is going to turn the program back into what they once were. He was recruiting me at UCF, but they didn't offer. Coach Held and Frost are the two coaches from Nebraska recruiting me. I will be seeing coach Held tomorrow morning and I am visiting Nebraska this weekend. I am signing in December and will be transferring in January. I think that Jaron Woodyard is coming to Nebraska with me this weekend."

A couple of coaching visit notes:

I caught up with Johnathan Huggins tonight. DC Chinander was there to see him yesterday and it was a very successful visit. I have updated the database with an official visit date for Huggins next week. As a reminder, Huggins will not be signing in December. He said that Chinander couldn't tell him a lot about what it's like there, but said that they need him and was talking about early playing time.

I also caught up with JUCO MIKE LB Will Honas. Honas said that DC Chinander and LB coach Barrett Ruud were there to see him today. He said that it was a good meeting, but he hasn't made a decision about taking an official visit to Nebraska or not. Additionally, I wanted to know if Nebraska saw him as a 4-3 LB because of running a 3-4 last year. He simply said, "That's what I am (4-3 MIKE)."

I just had the opportunity to speak briefly with junior college dual-threat quarterback Terry Wilson's mother about her son's recruitment. She said he is in the middle of finals week at Garden City (Kan.) C.C., and as soon as he completes his schoolwork this semester, if things are going to develop relatively quickly for him.

She added that he has a lot of schools pursuing him that he is trying to sort through. Terry Wilson has not taken any visits to this point, but they plan to at least three of them between now and when he plans to sign his national letter of intent on December 20. They are hoping to take officials on both of these upcoming weekends, as well as to take at least one midweek official visit somewhere.

Wilson's mom would only confirm that he will definitely be taking an official to Kentucky, but she wanted him to speak with me first before confirming any other possible visit destinations. She said that he is considering visiting, "some old loves"; and when I told her I was with the Nebraska Rivals site she said, "Oh, then you are in a good place."

Wilson's mother said that Terry was set on having everything wrapped up by December 20 so that he can enjoy Christmas before starting the January semester at his college of choice.

I have left a voicemail for Terry Wilson, as well has sent him a text, requesting an interview. Hopefully, he will get back to me this evening.

I just had a DM exchange on twitter with newly offered WR Justin McGriff out of Tampa (Fla.) Jefferson and his responses to my questions are below:

What are your thoughts on being offered by Nebraska and new head Coach Scott Frost?

Justin McGriff: "I’m definitely feeling blessed and grateful, grateful that coach frost thinks Highly of me for sure."

Is Nebraska recruiting you as a receiver or as possibly someone who can grow into a tight end? Do you plan to visit Nebraska?

Justin McGriff: "As a Receiver. No, haven’t made that decision yet still digesting that I just received Big 10 offer."

Which Nebraska assistant coach is handling your recruitment? What are your thoughts on the UCF coaches who have gone to Nebraska? What was your relationship like with them?

Justin McGriff: "Idk because frost came to my school and spoke with me. I think they had to make the best decision possible for their lives and their family. My relationships were and still are great."

McGriff said he would let us know if anything from the develops between him and Nebraska.

DE Tate Wildeman

Nebraska defensive end commit Tate Wildeman out of Parker (Colo.) Legend tells me he had an in-home visit last night with Nebraska assistant Frank Verducci last night.

"It was very good to talk to him, great dude," Wildeman said of the visit. "He coached my dad so it was very interesting."

Wildeman said he has not locked in a date for his Nebraska official visit yet. I asked him if he still considered himself to be a solid Husker commit and he said, "The Frost hire was incredibly huge. Let's just say that!"

The defensive end also added that Verducci would not be a full-time coach at NU and he believed he would be an "analyst for the O-line."
