Raiola will transfer at the end of the year

Either trolling or WHAT THE FYCK DID YOU WATCH?

Barney is among the few warriors on this team. I hate calling out this Football program but they need to be called out. Nothing in life is easy and if they are half assing it maybe they should do something else that they are more passionate about. Football is a tough sport with two results: you’re a Winner or you’re a Loser
They have the 2nd worse loss in modern day Husker history. Go ahead and call em out.

What's the 1st. because this loss is by far the worst I have ever seen and I have been watching Husker football since 1969-1970. Maybe some OU game before that but that was before we actually were very good.

By the way, NU was VERY good from 1962 through 1966. They played in the Cotton, Sugar and Orange Bowl during that period.

If Raiola was really interested in winning a title (BIG or CFP) he would have never come to Nebraska. We’re still miles away from that. I think he came because of his dad’s alma mater and not wanting to have to fight for his position (like at Georgia or Ohio State). He wanted a guaranteed start from day 1. He’s making more money here than he would have at those other schools.
He's going to be the starter at NU and at many of these schools he will be at risk of not starting. OSU has Julian Sayin, the other 5 star from last year. NU needs to build up its roster and make some coaching changes. Rhule needs to get the best OC possible and stop hoping Satterfield will improve.
Put 15 million into NIL and accept that what NU football means to this state is on par with what football means to the people of Ohio, Alabama, and Tennessee.
The OL play has to improve. Can we hire a second OL coach to help? We did that in the past. I don't think we can move Donovan and keep Dylan. What about dad? He was an NFL OL and a feisty player.
Regardless of what happens we should go ahead and get Kaelin some playing time and if that means burning his redshirt, oh well.

The loss in 2022 to OU was on par. We were completely incompetent. That OU team wasn't even very good. We fired the DC after that game and were instantly better.
Missed tackles were far more of an issue than White's schemes. I saw guys whiff every play. Too much emphasis was on resting players in the off week.

2004 Texas Tech 70-10 over Nebraska (Callahan’s first year)

2012 Wisconsin 70-31 over Nebraska (Pelini vs Bielma. Wisconsin was the third best team in the Leaders Division because Ohio State and Penn St were ineligible due to NCAA sanctions. Wisconsin ran the same Jet Sweep over and over against Nebraska and we couldn’t stop). I think this is the worst loss in recent Husker history.

He might want to have a talk with his uncle about HIS performance before he goes. Our run blocking is atrocious.

Didn’t mark mangino’s Jayhawks drop 77 points on one of Cosgrove’s brilliant defenses?

2007 Callahan’s last year was so weird. Such a wild year!

Mark Mangina beat us 76-39 and then we beat K-State Ron Prince (Grimace) coach 73-31. Talk about a Bi-Polar team!

Then we scored a bunch of points at Colorado but still lost 51-65. That is like a basketball score. Joe Ganz played great though! The writing was on the wall in Callahan’s last year.

That was bad but some leeway given in that Frosty was just fired and it was Mickey Joseph’s first Interim HC game.

Yea, it was. This would be top 5 over last 20-years. Bad all around - in about 20 months it feels like we are back to Frost level incompetence. Not good.
That’s the real kick to the groin. There were reasons to believe that we were at least moving in the right direction, away from the incompetence and embarrassments. But yesterday’s game makes you question everything about where we are and where we are going.

Yes putting up 51 points and losing was wacky. As was scoring 39 but losing by 37. Oh if only Callahan had made a change in his defense coaches he might have had a nice successful run at Nebraska.

These two would rank right up there with yesterday embarrassment.

It wouldn’t surprise me, nor would I blame him. I imagine there are plenty of teams out there who’d be able to offer him more (of everything) than this team. So far, he’s regressing this season, and that’s squarely on the coaches.

Two thoughts: DR is a copy of 2AM. His best games were before the coaches got him going backwards. Other is DR reminds me of the receiver Frost was playing at running back because he was the only threat we had.

The irony of this season is that DR missed a wide open game clinching TD against Illinois at the end of regulation, and two wide open TDs today against OSU when we lost by four. That Indiana loss would feel a lot different if it was the only one and we just beat a Top 5 OSU on the road.

DR has been the bright spot on offense this year, and he will be even better.

Missing wide open wide receivers that would have been the difference between wins and losses and 5 INTs in the last 3 games with zero TDs is a bright spot??

Someone needs to remind DR that mahomes scrambles a lot for yards, maybe he can add that to his game. Would help us tremendously if he could go grab 8 yards up the middle when everyone is covered

Excited to have him on our team. However, the offense continues to be a dumpster fire with no end insight. He has a track record of moving from school to school. Played for 3 different High Schools across the country and changed commitment to 3 different colleges.
Why would he stay here with a continued nightmare of an offensive line? He would benefit by transferring to a top school that has a track record of protecting passing QBs. A QB at N has to be an elite scrambler to survive. Sorry, but this will happen just watch it unfold.
