That said, Rhule and Nebraska did a damn good job of recruiting him. It was not for lack of effort on Rhule's end. If it doesn't work out at UGA, for whatever reason, I'd wager a hefty sum he ends up in Lincoln barring a disaster. Rhule is a terrific coach and homerun hire. He will get talent and use the portal. He also has a great relationship with Kirby so don't be surprised to see some more players portal from UGA and end up in Lincoln.

You guys are probably the most loyal fan base not named South Carolina and better days are ahead. I expect NU under Rhule to be challenging Michigan and Ohio State in next 2-3 years


P.S.......He's still an 18 year old kid so until ink meets paper, his recruitment is still open. Rhule is not gonna roll over because of today.

With Beck and Vandagriff already at UGA, he may have to be pretty patient before taking over the reins.

Well stated. Last Top Rated QB and Overall player, J T Daniels , that UGA signed at QB was beaten out by an unranked Walk On, Stetson Bennett , who QBd 2 NCs and was MVP in every playoff game he played including 2 NC games.

is D R the next Trevor Lawrence or the nxt Daniels ? Rankings AIN'T the BE ALL/ END ALL.

Besides JT Daniels, also Shea Patterson, S. Rattler, Jacob Eason (also a UGA TOP ranked QB), Bama's Barnette, Clemson's Ugalealie and a HOST of others were ALL, TOP RANKED "can't miss" QBs that DID.

Meanwhile: 4 time NFL MVP A. Rodgers, J Allen and Daniel Jones were unranked WalkOns, while
Mahomes ,Herbert, Burrow, Mayfield , Manzel , Pickett, etc were 3*s. WHY QB is THE hardest position to judge/PREDICT outa HS to CFB.

I think this year see Beck have a big yea then he goes to NFL as his stock would never be higher. Raiola would absolutely compete with Vandagriff and Stockton. He is more talented than both. If he had to wait, it'd be 1 season then I think he wins QB1 outright.
