He’s a good player too. He’s playing great D on Edey but Edey isn’t missing. Really happy with this game. Much better than last few years.
I took Purdue +7. I really think they are likely to win also.
Clearly a great coach, but watching the last 2 UCONN games, Hurley comes off as a massive douchebag to me.
UConn’s coach looks like the biggest cry baby I’ve ever seen. Hope they lose
You’ve never watched his brother coach a game, apparently. This is nothing, by comparison.
Bobby coaches Arizona State. Guy is downright unhinged on the sideline. Seriously - stuff that would get a person on the street placed in a straight jacket and sedated.
I’m fine with a no-call there, but you can’t call a charge when the guy jumps sideways at the last second. Lots of TV crew groupthink on that one.
All 5 on the floor for UConn are a threat. Can’t play off almost anyone. The movement, screens, cuts….pretty fun to watch. Just brutal to defend.
Edey out of steam and his teammates aren’t helping him out. Put a fork in Purdue
All true but Purdue is defending relatively well. UConn has a starting 5 that’s getting drafted. That’s the difference. Cam Spencer plays so hard and Newton is just as smooth as it gets. Tough to beat a good team with 2 senior guards that could both be AA
Zero guard play for Purdue. Reverted back to their old ways.
Smith has played well considering, Loyer is absent. They’re true sophomores so they’ll get better. Loyer could be Cam Spencer but he’s playing like a kitten.
Only guard that looked good against UConn was the stud from Bama. Sears, the Brunson clone
Yeah Smith is a whiner, but he’s had a thankless job in this game with pretty much everyone but him and Edey doing not much of anything
This was one of the worst NCAA Tournaments in a long time. So many blowouts, almost no exciting finishes.
Just checking this chat out now with 5 minutes left in the game…was this post sarcasm?
