1. Fvck Alabama, don’t care what the argument is, they don’t deserve a shot gift like that. They got their asses kicked by 2 unranked teams. Pound sand losers.

2. Committee better not match up SMU, Boise State or ASU against each other in the 1st round. That’s bullshit, let us see how they stack up against the perceived “big boys”. I think ASU might do well with the right matchup, I think Boise and SMU will lose to about everyone in the field accept each other. JMO

That is it NFM

Not sure how I feel about OSU getting home game? But then again it’s tough to get a 12 team playoff fielded in a way that makes everyone happy.

Here’s the actual media bias:

Ohio state loses to a 6-6 Mich team at home as 3 TD favorites and only drops 4 spots

The fake news mainstream media loves the B1G. Always has always will.

Yes! I think the committee did the right thing putting SMU in over Bama. You don’t want teams opting out of their championship game. And fvck Saban, the SEC and their bullshit argument that SEC teams won’t have any incentive to play good teams out of conference. 🤣 They don’t play anyone good out of conference anyway.

I don’t think a team could opt out of a championship game, they should get tagged with a forfeit loss. I’d think they would just stop having conference champ games.

go compare the SEC non-con with the B1G's

I'll wait

Penn State, whose biggest attributes are two close losses, just has to beat the #11 and #9 seeds to get to the Final Four. Good Lord, what a gift.

Pedo got the best draw by far. I’d rather be in their position than any of the other byes. (accept Boise off course cause they will be PSU’s next, likely)

Defeat the SEC teams in this tourney, this year and the next, and the rhetoric will calm. Create balance and there will more talking balance.

The seeding is so stupid. The conference champions should get in, but that does NOT mean they should be the top seeds automatically. I knew there would be a way for the NCAA to screw this up. Seedings should be based on rankings so that the regular season actually means something.

Nothing says they won’t decide to change it for next season.

The discussion after the release of the seeds is interesting. Herbstreit says there should be a group that does all of the scheduling. That would mean the individual conferences wouldn’t decide crap. At that point just as well dissolve the conferences.

I don't understand your point. His point is the SEC already has a good SOS, but SMU and Clemson don't. How would playing more SEC games help that?
He is triggered, despite the committee putting in B1G’s Indiana (don’t belong) and leaving out the #4 FPI team in the country from the SEC.

This year SEC’s out of conference schedule was a little better than most years, but still not great. USC and LSU played each other. Most would say that’s a tougher match up for SC and the Vegas line agreed and had LSU as the favorite. Bama played a shitty Wisconsin team and was rightly so a big favorite. Georgia played Clemson, that’s a solid OOC opponent. South Carolina also played Clemson, but not sure that should count for anything, they play each other every year. Florida played Miami and got blasted, and once again they play every year anyway.

Michigan played Texas and were underdogs. SC played LSU as underdogs. Wisconsin played Bama as an underdog. Iowa played ISU, but they play every year. And Oregon played Boise State. You could maybe throw in Tennessee playing NC State or us playing Colorado, but I don’t think those matchups move the needle much.

So there are your stats. It sure looks like the B1G played a significantly tougher schedule. But I’m sure you’ll argue otherwise despite the facts.
