I am one of the 12 fans. Nebraska has the best fan base in the B1G. Almost all of the 49,988 that visit Evanston for your game are fine people. Just hope you aren’t one of them making the trip. Your attack on the opponents is not the best look when you had numerous chances to salt it away. See the rest of you next year.

Was nice of Fitz to give a pre-condolence of sorts. Don’t understand the gloating from a portion size f the board. It would have been better for the program had Riley worked out.

I've watched Kansas play a few times this year and have thought the same thing about them. They occasionally play well at times - but there is no single thing that you can rely on. Just little spurts of decent play, but in the end you are what you are.

He would be classy to your coach if you guys had just won and were 8-0, as well as if you were 0-8. He's not stupid; he knows he may want to hire Riley someday, or one of his assistants, or someone who played for him, etc. Coaching is a small world and you don't burn bridges if you can avoid it.

I for one will apologize for the rude responses. There is (unfortunately) a younger fan base that doesn't value being gracious in victory and complimentary in defeat. It may be the sign of the times, I don't know. Congrats on the OT victory!
