25 year high immigration surge under Biden. Over a million illegals with covid into this country in 6 months. 25 year low under Trump. Any idiot who voted for this mess. Hope you're happy with the nightmare this country has become.
is there data to show that all million of them had covid? how is them being unvax'd any different than being unvax'd here?

Fauci told McClatchy on Wednesday that the country could be “in trouble” going into the fall season unless more Americans get vaccinated for Covid.
***********************************
So, things are going to get worse because of unvaccinated citizens. No mention of the 1 million + that crossed the border? We could force the illegals to get vaccinated, but nope that would violate their rights. Two-tiered system. Population replacement to benefit the globaleftists?
***************************
Here's a thought exercise. Wonder if it turns out that the vaccine's long term effect is bad? Since all the politicians (and lots of judges) claim to have taken it, that would mean we might get rid of the current crop 10 years down the road.
"The Lord works in mysterious ways."

Those people probably shouldn't be voting anymore then. It was pretty obvious what it was for and it wasn't like it wasn't talked about prior to the election.

I was stunned to hear it passed, and while not in favor of legalizing pot I think if you let the people vote on it you have to honor their wishes. Not a fan of having an election, then having elite politicians deciding they know what's best and setting aside the will of the people anyway.

Any different? Does the word illegal mean anything to you? People pouring in from 100 different countries. Hello next variant and panic mode from the libs. Biden is in charge of the countries biggest super spreader event. Why Desantis told him to get it fixed. But dummy is more worried about masking legal taxpaying citizens who are vaxed while Illegals can do whatever the Hell they want. Welcome to Joe Biden's Socialist America!!

This is a joke. ED docs rarely, if ever, fill out death certificates. The patient would have to die in the ED for them to do it, and covid patients almost always die after admission. And as I have stated before, hospitals Don’t bill off death certificates. Death certificates are government/legal documents—they have NOTHING to do with hospital billing.
Hospitals received the covid stipend for covid-caused and incidental admissions. Meaning, it didn’t matter whether the patient had a primary covid infection or fell off their bike, broke a hip and incidentally was found to be covid positive during screening. The stipend was meant to cover the extra costs associated with these patients: longer lengths of stay (started around 10days, now down to 5-6),and high PPE costs. Again, physicians had NOTHING to do with whether a hospital received the stipend. The patient either tested positive or negative on their admission screen.
Dodge, duck, dip, dive and Dodge. Nice work Kamala.

Why are so many patients going on the ventilator? Idk the doctor told me they needed it.

What incentive would the chief medical officer of a hospital have in painting these illnesses as much more severe than they really are? What incentive indeed.

Oh that's silly. That's a conspiracy theory. Just like forced vaccines and vaccine passports. Oh you have to have proof of a vaccine to go in a bar or restaurant in NYC now?
So the left wants you to show your medical papers to go out to eat or to a movie but no ID needed to vote?? Wow. That sounds fair and not crazy at all!! 😆

Guess you missed the point. Your argument of injecting a million people with Covid is false. My comment is the unvax’d here are just as harmful as those from Mexico. Illegal or not.

should we crack down on illegal immigration, definitely. Wont argue that.

and you mention desantis. His “leadership” has led to his state accounting for roughly 20% of the new cases in the entire country, exceeding numbers from the last major wave.

How many of those cases were from illegals with covid being put into communities across the country like Mccallen Texas? And if you are going to defend a blithering idiot like Biden while criticizing Desantis then you are already so far left you cannot be reasoned with.

IMHO, Case counting has always been the dumbest way to determine the severity of this pandemic, especially now that there are a ton of treatments, especially when caught early. We only count the the cases that we know about. No one is even tracking the number of people that have had covid and had the shot or had one but not the other. Why aren't we giving away the T-cell test for free like we do the vaccine? Wouldn't it make sense to get a grasp on the actual number of people that are at risk of getting and spreading the virus, or potentially getting the worst of it and not just sniffles and a temporary loss of smell or taste?

You're not helping yourself. Considering the consensus is that Delta is very contagious, there is zero doubt that a significant % of those coming here illegally are infected. And as another poster stated, the raw # of those infected isn't and shouldn't be the main concern. But, the Biden administration, which is doing all it can to crack down on the citizens, and alleges Desantis is "getting in the way," does a grand total of zero to stop the flow and is sending illegals throughout the country. "Dumb" and "unapologetically partisan and political" doesn't even begin to describe it. The only possible worse option as President is the sitting VP. Lord have mercy.

I’m confused. I was under the impression that the pandemic talk would end after the election. Or that we would reach herd immunity by now. Not shift the narrative to leveraging the pandemic to immigrants or variants or vax efficacy or schools or Florida/Texas/Illinois. Left, Right, Left, Right. Sh!t is exhausting.
Our greatest challenge is not the pandemic(it really is, but for effect I’m saying it’s not), it’s the rhetoric surrounding it. The reactions and conversation based on winning against the other side. It’s humans. Humans and politics. Humanity is the absolute worst.

I do agree with this. I would think herd immunity would be right around the corner just putting a couple of things together.

330M Americans
165M Americans Vaxxed
100M Infected (There has been 36M confirmed cases, but some studies saying that number could be 4X I went with 3

If that is the case there is around 65 million people that haven't had exposure to the virus. A bunch of those are probably kids who are not affected by this thing for the most part, and adding in there is probably a significant amount of people who are just naturally immune this thing should be winding down, but something is not adding up. This is why at some point it would be nice to know the real facts and also what therapeutics actually worked against this thing as it doesn't seem to be going away, so how are we going to live with it without shutting things down.

As much as there is talk about this on both sides, in my area people are literally just living their lives at this point and it isn't a big deal. If you want to wear a mask, you wear a mask. I'm not observing the same arguments anymore, people are just minding their own business. I feel it is the same way with vaccines. Early on, it was a big talking point with a lot of the parent groups. Now it's literally like do what you want. Everyone has literally had the opportunity and if you don't want it, you have to deal with the consequences.

Control vs. Freedom. Always going to be a battle. Problem is, lying through your teeth, and being overtly political, used to get you in some hot water, now, it'll get you to the Presidency. It would be so much more bearable if people didn't talk out of both sides of their mouth and had just a sliver of integrity. Elitist ignorant sanctimonious condescending bags of shit running this Country with the goal of making us despise each other. Too many of them care only about themselves. But, "news" organizations are even worse.

The right thought by giving the left what they wanted (uncontested power), they would secure "peace in our time".
The snowflakes on the right/center who couldn't handle tweets enabled this nightmare.
Also Trump was an idiot for not firing Fauci in 2017 when he declared there would be a pandemic during DJTs time in office. In fact if you look at how many people Obama fired compared to Trump, it is clear Trump failed to attack the swamp early on and that just emboldened them.

We just went back to masks in office while not at a desk, schools will be masked again. But, recently my community was considered the worst hit community in the country, but we are on the way back down. What I can tell you is most things seem normal, except ICU beds are full and ambulance/EMS teams from around the region are bringing in transports to take patients outside the region to free beds. And the hospital I worked for for 12 years is struggling to house the deceased patients.

It's amazing how many people don't understand ballot issues. A friend's kids voted for recreational pot but they told their parents " we don't and won't use it, but we want the tax money". It's amazing the number of adults I've heard say the same thing. Whatever.

Refrigerator trucks. That said, where the hell are you? I'm guessing you're in an area that kept kids home last year and shut down bars and restaurants.

I saw on the darkhorse podcast that there appears to be some evidence that the vaccines are driving the new variants and that people vaccinated are potentially spreading covid. They were also on Rogan and stated that if Ivermectin were widely used it would eliminate covid entirely. The reason Ivermectin isn't used is because the patent expired a long time ago, even though its been very effective in a large variety of parasites and viruses.
Ivermectin has never been shown to be effective against any viruses in any well run scientific study that I've seen.

Nope, Springfield, Missouri. Kids went 2 days for a while, then 4, then 5. We did have some shutdowns but they were over pretty quick. Masks were required only in the city, surrounding areas were split on masks. Common theme? 40% vaccinated in the immediate county and 20’s and 30%’s in surrounding communities. Biggest issue is rural hospitals transporting patients to Springfield, but now Springfield is peaking. We look to be on a down swing though so hopefully it continues.

You missed the point, Numb Nuts. I am a product of a rural school system and they were speaking about the south. Go into the south and take a look around at the academic situation down there before you start with your name calling. There's a reason that there are a lot of junior colleges in the south. The truth hurts, but that's the south.

As far as Nebraska rural schools goes, ask Pete Ricketts what he thinks. He wants to consolodate rural schools and target that money to Catholic Schools. I, on the underhand, support Nebraska's small rural schools.
Ohhh I think I get it. I’m supposed to read your mind when you refer to a link someone posted several posts ago so that I know that you’re only speaking of the South when you say “rural” since there are clearly no rural communities outside of the south.

To straighten out your revisionist history though, you did start the name calling when you said idiots rule the day in rural school districts, again, hilariously RIGHT after saying they avoided a “big mistake”. Try to keep those thoughts straight, uncle Joe. I know it’s hard with that homemade spike protein flowing through every inch of your brain at all times.

If they keep this fraud up for just a couple more years maybe they can impact the elections.

When you agreed to 2 weeks to stop the spread did you know it'd turn in to 4 years?

You know, I would slightly understand people's hesitation to mask up this time. Skepticism is a good thing. At the same time, some of the loudmouths here crying and deeming everything a NWO conspiracy were the same who didn't even make an attempt to stop it the first time. And didn't get vaccinated. Because tRump said so. And tRump's mindless, doltish minions said so because tRump said so. And there are tracking devices in the vaccine. And the vaccine makes a person sterile. Yada yada.

I wonder if the skepticism and distrust of the overall medical community displayed by some on here would be as consistent when said people are confronted with a personal or loved one's medical emergency? 🤔 I highly doubt it. I highly doubt said people would hop in the car and drive to one of these conspiracy theorists' houses, asking for help.

It's an obvious double-standard to me. And that's just the tip of the iceberg as far as just how selfish and petty all this anti-vaccine, conspiracy bullshit has become.

Ummm .. you do realize Trump created warp speed to make a vaccine. It was people on the left that were anti-vaccine.

The alternate reality you live in is quite fascinating. What was Nebraska’s record in your reality last year? They sucked in mine.

Oh, the revisionist history is indeed strong with you. Not that I'm overly surprised; you never really struck me as the brightest bulb. Trump said it was a hoax from the get-go, homeslice. And mocked masks. And the CDC. And of course Fauci. Then he himself got it. Was airlifted to a military hospital. After that, it was China's fault. Now, it's "the left" trying to infringe upon your rights by asking people to wear a mask and get vaccinated? Get bent. The "left" said it from the get-go. Apparently the leftists are made up of epidemiologists, virologists, doctors, etc. Would you like me to waste some of our time and find videos of tRump spewing lies all around, and mocking the science since the beginning? Or will you be too busy injecting hydroxychloroquine and drinking bleach to watch?
