I don't like how weapons break on this game. I still haven't completed it though, and it is still very cool. I like Link to the Past better, but it's probably mostly due to nostalgia.
I can't give a top game, but 3 off the top of my head would be...

Clearly none of you losers have ever played Qbert
Golden Eye on N64. But my all time favorite Chrono Trigger.
Sooooo many endings... The replay value on this was off the charts. Story, battle system, graphics.

That world series baseball was sick though, I had forgot about those joysticks.
Skyrim was up there, too
RDR2 by a wide margin. Nothing else comes close.
Marble Madness in the arcade was amazing. The roller ball made that game.

Quake III Arena ... 1 of the first online First Person 3D games. I was addicted for many, many years of my life.
Omg. I was a master of this game on Colecovision along with Cosmic Avenger. Made it thru the highest level of each game. Classic!
Qbert has a modern remake on Xbox which includes the original retro graphics as well.
Age of Empires II: Age of Kings
Was a heated rivalry with this one older kid at WC Frank's with Super Mario Bros and before that Star Wars with the digitized voices and that swiveling rotating controller.
So many though I've forgotten a bunch. Maybe Dragons Lair and Space Ace even if they were just a game of memorize. First arcade game I remember being 50 cents.

Gorf was funny, Battlezone was super fun. Double Dragon and Karate Champ were good, too.
Massive flaw in that game. Just keep spinning and you couldn't be tackled.
