Or maybe Epstein was a rich a-hole whose girlfriend recruited poor underage girls to have sex with Epstein and anyone who could help him gain money and influence including D and R politicians, as has been reported by almost everyone. Those people have enough influence to squash the info. Or, as Dershowitz did, to intimidate anyone who speaks out.
100% that just because someone's name is on the list, that doesn't mean they were participating in diddling underage girls. Im sure there were some, but the vast majority were were just doing what people of wealth and influence do...hanging out with other people of wealth and influence. I would think (hope) most of the general public would know that.

Epstein was likely one in a long line of influential “hosts” whose goal was two fold - offer some services and at the same time work for various governments. The US has a long history of capturing video of persons in compromising situations, foreign and our own, and using it against them when they needed an ally for something. I think you can easily find this information.

I have no problem having these people having to defend/explain themselves. If I was occasionally (or often) hanging out with a guy who was a huge pedophile I would expect to have to explain that to people in my life.

I don't think that's the case. My read is that Bondi is simply going through the expected channels (via the FBI Director) to make sure he's aware that there may be missing docs being held by a NY FBI office. I don't see it as her being accusatory towards Patel.

Pretty large gap between having to explain that to people in your life and automatically being found guilty before proven innocent in the court of public opinion. I imagine there will be varying degrees of all that if/when a list actually comes out, i.e. someone took one trip on one plane one time vs. someone went to the sex island 30 times. One is really easy to explain away and one definitely raises eyebrows, and everything in between.
"people in your life" is one thing. The entire world is another...and the entire world does not have a right to know everything about, everything, in your life...impossible to release that list and limit the damage control for the innocent, to just "people in your life" we've seen people commit suicide for less.

Have you been living in the US since 2016? The court of public opinion has been the primary weapon if choice for a certain political party. That's why trust in the MSM is at a 50 year low per CNN.
They took one of the riches and most famous guys in the world, who has been in the spotlight and had cameras watching his every move since he was a child, and they charged him with dozen of bogus claims, proven to be paid for by politcal opponents, and they couldn't find a single thing that would hold up in court....but half the country believes he is a rapist, a threat to democracy, a racist, a real estate fraudster, a white supremacist, a Russian spy, a homophobe.
The precedent has been set. If you dont serve the side in charge, and are accused of something, your life must be turned inside out to prove your innocence, or you're hiding something. There is no doubt that the large majority of politicians have some skeletons in the closet, so to an extent, you have to accept it, that doesn't mean you think the politician is "clean." But you also have to use your brain, like in the situation when someone is labeled a "convicted felon," being able to actually understand what happened, and why, makes a big difference; like when the full weight of a government (absolute power) goes after a political opponent to attempt to destroy them.

This isn't that difficult to understand. Their are still old guard FBI directors that don't want to play ball. The NYC office was trying to hide thousands of pages, and Patel and Bondi found out, so now they are pursuing those docs.

A couple days ago Bondi stated she was reading the docs and it was gross and disturbing or some other adjectives. I haven't read the docs. Are the released docs not the same ones she was talking about? If so, can't she release what she has?
