NU vs. Indiana & Ohio State baseball pod

Go-ahead run at 2nd with one out. Buckeyes falling apart.

Here's an update on both Ohio State and Iowa's chances of winning a Big Ten title:

As crazy as this game was wouldn't surprise me if our four runs were a bases empty grand slam

Next up Indiana on ESPNU. Supposed to start in just over two hours.

Same thing happen to them in the Big 10 tournament in Omaha a few years back, the Huskers came back in the late innings and snatched it from their grasp...I was there and loved it..
Nebraska did that 3 times to them in Lincoln too that season (2014). Ohio State should be used to it by now.

Would be nice to get to 3-0 before Ohio State even has the play its second game.

I'm sure there's been a pod or two where Nebraska benefited from this total cluster**** scheduling, but it still makes little sense to me.

Welcome to the bizarro world created by Warren and lapdog Alvarez.

So Indiana gets roughly 24 hours between all of its games, but NU plays 3 in under 24 hours? Seems fair.
The other thing that plays out are the pitching matchups. Usually, a 3-game series plays out with the No. 1 vs. the No. 1 and on down the line.
But with this pod action, Nebraska tomorrow could be at a disadvantage.
Friday — Indiana No. 1 vs. Nebraska No. 1
Saturday — OSU No. 1 vs. Nebraska No. 2
Saturday — Indiana No. 2 vs. Nebraska No. 3
Sunday — OSU No. 2 vs. Nebraska No. 4

We switched Schanaman (usually the Sunday guy, or No. 3) with Hroch (the Saturday guy, or No. 2) so we'll actually have No. 2 vs. No. 2 tonight. In that case, we went with our No. 3 vs. OSU's No. 1, and we'll see our No. 4 vs. their No. 2 tomorrow, probably. So far, it has worked out, and the trophy is within view.

Yeah like I said, perhaps there was a pod somewhere along the way in which the schedule was blatantly stacked in Nebraska’s favor, but I don’t remember anything as effed up as this.

Just an FYI, Husker bball game probably won't start on espnu. Softball won't be done in 11 minutes.... probably

I know I'm way behind you guys because I'm watching on DVR. That was one heck of a play by hagge at home!! Love the aggressiveness of bolt ball

Hoosiers retired in order in the 7th. NU heads to the 8th up 3-0.

These umps with their masks over their eyes. 😆

Following in the footsteps of Big Ten football refs being the worst in America, baseball umpires also blow chunks. Does the Big Ten interview at the local drive up window?
