Hey 48 years ago I ran the 40 at 4.7 in pads on a cinder track. Today it would be more like 9.7.
I knew a long time ago you had decent wheels. 9.7 might be charitable if you pull a hammy or Achilles at first explosion.
About 32 years ago my son was a 4th grader and I was maybe 37, and I beat him at 40 yards.
The next year, the race was over in about 3 strides, and it was all downhill for me from then on.
My son is now 44 and plays tag everyday with his 10 and 5 year old, and they can't catch him.
I told him to enjoy it for about 2 more years.

He’s a goodish coach. Can win a few games in the plodding big 10. But, weird AF and embarrassing.

Because he did not beat just us. He has posted some good win totals. Look, I said I can’t stand the guy. I mean that. He creeps me out. He is bizarre. But why do some Husker fans go from the fact that he is a fricking freak to the idea that he can’t coach? Is he a great coach? No. But he is a good coach. He has put a better than average product on the field every year. We haven’t done that since we fired Pelini.
Hard to count the Covid 19 year in the B1G, but he has had 9-4, 9-4, 11-2 and 7-6 with a bowl win against Georgia Tech..
Damn wish SF had some of those records over that period of time.

Only Bernie Bierman and Henry L. Williams have better winning percentage more than 6 years than Fleck who is .620 by comparison to Glen Mason who was .529..

That's what I'm thinking. I respect the work that he's done, and while he's flaky as hell, I'm not sure what some posters on this board are so infatuated with him.

Yes Frost sucked, we can all agree on that, but that doesn’t make PJ amazing because he isn’t Frost.
He sure does a nice job of making people think the bad years and bad loses don’t count. But the covid year does count (3-4) and so does “year zero” (5-7). Especially considering the team he inherited that was winning 8+ every year. He has posted basically identical records to the two Minnesota coaches before him. And he got to play the shittiest version of Nebraska every year.
I’m not saying he is a terrible coach (terrible person yes), but the whole PJ is amazing narrative is just based solely on his own self hype. He took a solid program and kept it solid, while telling anyone that would listen is was a miracle.
If you really are a fan of the Huskers, and I still have my doubts whether you really are, I think you should reconsider. You go on about how badly the B1G sucks and yet you claim you are a fan of the Huskers, the Huskers have provided nothing to really get excited about for about two decades now. I know many fans on here bloviate about how great the Pelini years were, although his 9 win seasons were empty and he never won any games of substance.
Let’s look at some facts, since you think the B1G is beneath us. Fitzgerald was 6-6 against Nebraska. Fleck is 5-1 against us and has won 4 straight, also Minnesota owns the all-time record against us 36-25-2. Iowa is 8-4 against us since we joined the league and won 7 straight until we ended that streak last year. Wisconsin has beaten us 8 straight times, has won 11 of the last 12 meetings, and is 12-4 against us all-time.
So I ask again why should we believe that you are a Husker fan? You say that the B1G gets no respect and deserves none. So based on your assessment of the B1G, we are the worst team, in the worst division, in the worst conference in the Power 5. Which means we are in the running for the worst team in The Power 5.
Please explain your supposed Husker fandom?
I can’t live out here anymore of we blow another against them. Got my tix and we better win.
