Nebraska travels to West Lafayette as 8.5 dogs

I only watched the last few minutes of first half. What happened that they got so far behind other than Purdue scored a lot more points? Horrible shooting?

PU first half was a lock NOW is over 72 a lock for the 2nd??

I feel like NU scores a lot of points in second halfs.

Hate to say it but Smith got robbed on that potential 3 pt play. That basket should’ve counted but I’m glad it didn’t. Purdue could make shots blind folded they’re shooting today.

Boilers are shooting 50% from the field and 8-13 from 3.
From what I see in the 2nd half it appears the Huskers don’t want to be there. Lazy and careless passes, lazy transition defense. Just like last season go on the road and it’s an incredible change vs home games

Ulis might as well change his name to Useless. He’s somewhat serviceable against teams that don’t bring a lot of back court pressure defensively. Or teams that have below average backcourt defenders he’s ok. But he’s totally useless against good-elite defenses.

Purdue has 18 threes and our guys are demoralized. Every time they get a stop and score 4 straight points Purdue hits a 3 to kill it. Then in frustration we play too fast and careless on offense turn the ball over and Purdue gets another transition 3. Maddening…

Eduardo Andre playing well for West Virginia today.

Seems like he was at NU during the Sadler era.

It’s not even the middle of January quite yet and only 5 conference games have been played. Too early talking bubble.

Gotta beat #95 Rutgers in our building next week. that one would be brute. Hopefully Oregon state can get back into the top 50

Damn, this was disappointing. I thought after our road loss to Iowa that we would play better at Purdue. I thought our guys would come out with a tough attitude with an eye toward proving they could win on the road.
Hoiberg still hasn’t figured out how to win conference games on the road against the better teams.

That was Purdue 26 straight win and home and they were red hot obviously by scoring 104 points and 19 for 33 from the arc..
