Yea Amy Williams appreciates your endorsement.
Well, the players and their parents don't seem to be running the program anymore. Do you have a problem with Williams? She's a former Husker, and is starting to get the mess turned around.

the most butthurt poster is probably the one who changes his screen name to express his butthurtness, makes hundreds of boohoo parella posts, cries about how unfair MR and SE had it here, defends clearly incompetent people well after they're gone, whines incessantly about fans and other posters, and has been wrong about anything of any importance whatsoever here regarding nebraska football for years. it's honestly an impressive record of stupidity and time wasting to have gone on this long.

Yea and he hates old people, children and dogs too. (tin cup) Laughing

Once again, nothing of substance to dis-prove anything. But it is ok, people like yourself tend to lash out when they get their feelings hurt by reading something they don't want to be true. Par for the course for you

Actually he used your posting history as the substance hence proving everything.

Yep........that's what you were saying about MR too. As far as the parents running it under Yori you have no clue. We had a entitlement prima dona that got in SE's ear. Instead of standing up to that player he pulled a gutless firing. When that player didn't get her prima dona status the next year she transferred anyway.

That program was a shit show. Her Dad was running Yori. Yori refused to even make her practice, and it was causing major issues. When Williams came in and stopped it, she and Daddy took their ball and left.
You were close this time, but no "cigar".

Wrong.........she led the rebellion under Yori because Yori was making her work too hard. You have your opinions backwards. When her production went down the last year she and daddy realized they can't ask for another coach and took their ball and left.

Hadn't heard that. News to me. I thought she left for abusive allegations? My only personal run in with her was pretty off putting. She and 2 of her players stopped me on my way thru Selleck. The team must have had some kind of event to sell tickets.

Won't ever forget this. Yori asked me what I was doing and I told her killing time before class. Yori chuckled and told me I ought to come see REAL athletes produce and that I could learn a thing or two. I told her that I score more wins in a month than she does all year.

Keep dreaming, won't make it true. Their story changed when they realized they screwed up. I heard your version of the tradition coalition after it all went down as well. It was a good attempt, but false.

Its a reporter's job to ask questions so why would it be ridiculous to be fired for doing his job poorly?

Because asking questions is only one part of a reporter’s job. And it wasn’t a malicious question, just one with damned poor timing. He didn’t libel anyone or write something that was hurtful or endangered anybody. (Milton would have been well within his rights to tell him to f--- off or no-comment). Have you ever seen a press conference? I wish I had a nickel for every stupid question I’ve seen or heard at one of those. And none of those people got their family thrown out on the street. If the World-Herald canned everyone who’d ever pissed anyone off, they’d have janitors writing stories. Like any newspaper, they make multiple people from all walks of life angry every day.

That's kind of funny story. As for the first part........the abuse allegations were an interpretation of whether hard practices were considered abuse when she would often single out players who seemed to be slacking. She could also dole out a fair amount of abrasive language. She was basically bobby knighting them. Evidently SE wanted her to Mike Riley them. I'm friends with some former players and they were pretty upset that a couple of snowflakes on the team wanted her gone and SE bought off on it.

When student athletes continuously go to the AD about unfair and preferential treatment, and the coach refuses to try and figure it out... things happen. Yori could have saved herself the trouble by doing her job.
