Caught wind of this late last week and now it's official: Nebraska vs. Illinois has been moved to Friday night (Sept. 20) with a 7 p.m. CT kickoff time on FOX. The game was originally scheduled to be played on Saturday, Sept. 21.
This is Nebraska's first Big Ten opener at home in seven years. It will also be the Huskers' fifth time in seven years playing a Friday game – including three consecutive – with all five coming against either Illinois or Rutgers.
