For the last 10 years or probably longer I've been hoping and believing that the Huskers would get back to national relevance (e.g. in the hunt for national championships). After watching the team this year I just want to be competitive and would love to be just a top 25 team. Sadly I think my perspective is still behind reality.
On a more positive note I truly think this team has top 25 talent...top 15 to 20 when not counting senior classes so there's hope.
