Well, then 2000 probably. I thought maybe after we beat OU in Lincoln in 2001, and pre Colorado, we may have been #1. But that was probably Miami. But after our win over Tennessee in the bowl in 99, I think we were rated #1 going into 2000

Wow, I remember that game when I was a kid. Had someone told me then that we wouldn't reach #1 for at least 18 years I would have thought they were insane. Crazy.
