Something is weird about this interview. How did this news of him being in a coma and on his deathbed, then the NCAA championships, at least not make the news during the tourny when he recovered?
Would have made a great human interest story. I know there are Hippo laws, but you would think the Cornel PR guy would have wanted this in the news to create a buzz. Not taking anything away from the young man and his accomplishments, but it is just weird in the day in the age of athletes with a ankle sprain hits the front page. Weird.

Does Ivy League Cornel University have a mental health hospital? Shapiro needs to get examined.
I watched this 2 times. He was only asked 4 questions and went on for 16 minutes. Egomaniac, playing the victim, accusing other wrestlers of cheating. WOW!
"My teammates didn't know (I was dying). My coaches didn't know." He said when I came out of the hospital, I asked my coaches what can I do to get better and they replied, "Just wrestle."
What? Just prior, the dude said he punctured his lung and was in a coma on a ventilator. Never, ever, would any coach say "Just wrestle" when he was on his "deathbed,"
Earlier, he says he was fighting with cops and the medical staff is forcing fentanyl and ketamine down his throat.
Then he accuses fellow wrestlers of steroids.
Great wrestler but needs to hang up his shoes and focus on his mental health.

And by the way, it was Nebraska's own 2025 NCAA Champion, Antrell Taylor, that rag-dolled him in the semi's that helped him feel this way. LOLOLOLOL....
I'm guessing he is having an emotional breakdown from history of concussions and out of control self induced stress from unfulfilled internal and external expectations ---2 years ago was # 1 recruit. He had expectations of being a 4xr and now he cant even be a low life 3 xr. jeesh take a year off .
Skinny, oh no, my friend. He just needs to transfer out of Cornel to Pedo State for his chance at a Natty.
Problem is, he will never beat Kasak!
Never could I even feel what it is like in his shoes as I was done after senior year of high school. But, once again, his statements don't add up. Cornel Med and athletic department needs to get this guy checked out.
