Member when some of you idiots wanted the Kansas coach?

When we joined the B1G we were sold on the academic prestige but of course that was then and this is now. Now that the alleged prestige of being in the B1G has disappeared — it’s all about the money now — we might be better back in the BIG 12. A lot less money but we might actually get a few more wins.
We aren’t going back to the big 12.
Period.
Ever.

Money > wins.

Yeah because we would be playing a bunch of Mountain West level teams.

It's not. BYU and Colorado are the two best teams in the Big 12. They would get absolutely manhandled in the B1G.
i'm not sure asu isn't better than byu. they play next week. can't see buffs losing to ku.

as for the j'hawker coach - ku has 30 seniors, may not make a bowl, and lost for the 16th straight year to their rival. by any measure this has been a disappointing season given their talent level and seasoning.

Of course not, but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be good if we ever expect to be relevant on the football field. I was responding to the post demeaning the best teams in that conference. ASU and CU fans are certainly happy with where they are today even if their admins would rather have the big money from the B1G or SEC.

We'd be having a lot more fun if we were in the Big 12, no doubt about it. A LOT more fun. Even if the results were exactly the same, it'd still be a lot more fun for so many other reasons. Sigh

Yeah, no…you may be happier…you’re apparently content with being the tallest midget.

.

You're apparently content with being the midget amongst normal height people who only let you in the room every once in a while to wear the ball gag and take the whipping and hold the camera when they want to spice things up a little bit, dreaming that one day, you too may become a normal height person. I mean, if we're going with the whole midget analogy thing.

So you’re happy settling for playing in weak conference, with a fraction of the payout, as long as you can have an artificially inflated record. Hell, why not just join the Mountain west.

How about we just give our true freshman QB a chance to mature, and compete in one of the top conferences in the country…that would definitely be my preference.

Haha yeah, I know what you were saying. It was my (apparently failed) attempt at midget humor.

What you're referring to is the big fish, little pond vs little fish, big pond conundrum. We've been waiting 20 something years giving it and chance and trying to compete in "one of the top conferences in the country" with our big payout and our genuine uninflated record. It has sucked.

bigger win than Rhule has ever had.

I'd take what Kansas has fans experienced the last 3 years over what we have in a heartbeat.

Rhule? That Kansas win was bigger than we've had in I can't even count how long. Beating an undefeated top 10 conference opponent in mid November? Yes please! Crappy midget conference or not.

If we are going to live in fantasy land, lets just go back and join this conference.

Loser mentality…

We would've probably been better off in the SEC as we've been disrepected in the B1G from day 1 when we stepped into this hell hole. At least the SEC would've shown us propper respect from day 1 believe it or not!
missouri is treated like the redheaded, carpetbagging stepchild there but N would be respected - umm, in what world do you people live, certainly not reality?

1) How is Mizzou treated like the redheaded stepchild? I know people close to that program and have never heard that.

2) Nebraska > Mizzou

I also always found it interesting that a Mizzou team we were constantly beating in the Big 12 could move to the SEC and immediately make two straight SEC Championship games.

Our Storried history, just like Texas and OU came in the SEC with a lot of respect because of their history and being Blue Bloods just like DONU and Blue Blood isn't what have you done for me lately as it's the overall history. Unlike the B1G, The SEC respects history while The B1G has always been a conference of arrogance and self serving self entitlement even when they were the utter jokes of the college football world for decades known as the Weak 10. This entire conference has not only disrespected us, but shit on us from day 1 and will always be that way. They don't respect anything about our history, athletic programs or the university and never have and never will.
