Rhule has to be the worst manager of timeouts I’ve ever seen in a coach at Nebraska and I’ve been watching almost half a century. He even mystifies the announcers with his game time management. Terrible in closing minutes against USC.

DR has shown absolutely nothing this year that he's a QB capable of playing on Sundays. He's a freshman qb, so I didn't really have high expectations anyway. But this level of kowtowing to an 18 year old kid who hasn't proven jack shit yet, and that's been from the head coach on down to the lowest part of the fan base, it's a really bad look for a supposed blue blood program.

I want the team to succeed but after 1 and 2/3 seasons of watching Rhule, I see him getting fired after the 2025 season and Neb starts the rebuild all over again. He’s an absolute horrific game manager. His timeout - that turned into a delay of game and punt - probably cost the Huskers 40 seconds at end of game. Those “little” things sometimes have big impacts on who wins and loses close games.
Rhule speaks at pressers much better than he manages football games. I’m not listening anymore. Show me on the field - because I don’t believe you until you do.

He does make questionable decisions I agree and no I’m definitely not happy with the season especially after the Colorado game, it seems like this team lost it’s edge in the loss to Illinois

What he brings to the table is the stuff outside of game day at this point. This isn’t anything new for Husker fans. How quickly we have forgotten Frank’s mind numbing clock management problems. Rhule needs to get his coordinators to get us to the point where we’re not scrambling to try to tie it up at the end of games. Make clock management a moot point cuz he clearly struggles to do the right thing.

I will say they are beatable but won’t be by Nebraska. The Husker players are mentally weak and can’t handle adversity OR success. They simply can’t get out of their own way. The huskers wont beat Wisconsin or Iowa.
