Flexing about beating Duquesne (a team that had to win their conf tourney for a bid) in Lincoln is the epitome of a loser fan base - it is no wonder UNL teams are so soft
By the way - the Dukes of Duquesne have only made 6 NCAA tournaments in their entire history but have somehow managed to win 6 games
The ncaa tourney winless streak is the greatest achievement by a Neb sports team in the history of the athletic department. A lot of major conf teams have won national championships in football. A number have won 5 or more. But only one major conf team has never won a tourney game - that is truly elite status when it comes to losing

This is the worst KU team I've seen in my lifetime. Hard to believe they were ranked #1 preseason.
They've been a fraud all year. 10-9 in conference when counting the conference tourney. That's not a 4 seed.
KU lost 5 of their last 7. Their last 3 losses by 20+. A forgiving whistle kept them from going out in the first round to Samford.

KU went 7-7 in Big 12 games with McCullar. 3-2 without him. They were a lousy team this year (by their standards).

Oakland really botched that last possession of regulation. NC State had no timeouts left, so I would have been looking to shoot sooner. If NC State gets the rebound with 2 or 3 seconds left, what are they going to do - throw in a 90-footer?
