Malachi

He’s proven more than all but 3 WRs we have
Key, Hunter, Lloyd and Barney have all clearly proven more than Coleman ever has in college. The room is more than fine

You’re of course “forgetting” how probably every scholarship receiver on the roster put up more stats than Coleman did in high school, so even all incoming freshman have already “proven themselves” more than he had at this point in their respective careers.

One could sooner argue he’s one of the most unproven scholarship WRs we have landed in the last decade plus.

Don’t let any of that stop you from shitting on the team and coaches some more though.

Well said. Proven or not - he’s not very good. Maybe that will change but HS through 2 years of college - he hasn’t been very good. I’ll take inexperienced good over experienced (can we call Malachi experienced?) “not very good” any day.

He has proven more on the field in college than all but 3 guys we have.
4 guys, not 3. Unless you’re really going to argue he’s done more than Barney, which everyone will disagree with you on for obvious reasons.

Barney - 52 catches, 431 yards, 130 rushing yards, 3 TDs
Coleman - 8 catches 139 yards 1 TD

Barney almost matched Coleman’s career stats in ONE GAME…

If we had kept him your "proven and ready" counts still wouldn't have changed.
With the 105 limit you process dudes like this. Going into 3rd year with limited stats. He redshirted for a reason this year. Not like we had all conference dudes playing wr this year. You process the non contributors and replace with 4 star freshman that hopefully pan out.

Has the jizz filling your jeans dried yet from banks and the WR room this year?

You’re a clueless kumbaya singer. Definition of know-nothing shit pumper.

Are you going to the NICU to laugh at the sick kids this Christmas?

If someday’s stats are accurate, seems pretty clear who is more ready between the 2… why are you arguing this point?

Maybe I missed it and you are arguing a different point.

I of course never made any comparison between Barney and anyone. I simply pointed out that Coleman’s made catches in B1G games, including a TD. Unlike the lions share of guys we have in the wr room today.

Barney was obviously included in my very short list of guys we have (4) who have proven anything on the field for us

Someday is gum on my shoe

And YOU are the one that considers Coleman an experienced player. Glass houses man. Glass houses.
He is experienced compared to all but 3 or 4 guys in our WR room, like I said.

People want proven and experienced players on one hand and shit on experienced players with the other while pointing to high school (LOL).

It’s very typical clueless bullshit.

Nah, you tried to get cute and got called on it.

It is what it is.

Having WRs who’ve caught TDs in B1G play is a good thing. We need more than 4 WRs who have shown they can make plays at this level.

My post was a very simple illustration of “proven”.

I’m not surprised the simplest of minds couldn’t track it. They never can. Far too butthurt.

I’m the simplest of minds now…

Perfect.

Have a good day.
Nope. You understand what I said.

You’ve also been a longtime critic of Colman’s want-to. We’ll see how it plays out. You’ve been right thus far.

Your football opinion is one I hold at the very top of any on this board.

By far the opinion I most respect.

Oh, so close, but you still didn't answer my question. Is he proven and ready? Yes or No. Come on...you can do it, I know you can!

Strange how you are really quick to shit on people in the program, but for some reason afraid to commit here.
He has proven he belongs on the field in this league, yes.

I wish Coleman the best except when we play Minnesota.

Having said that, if we brought in a portal WR going into his third season of action, and his career stat line looked like this:

REC 8
YDS 139
TD 1

Rhule would get roasted up here.

Roundly.
We brought in a portal WR coming off a major knee injury who hadn’t played in at least a year last offseason to a smattering of applause

Nobody roasts portal acquisitions. It’s against the off-season kool-aid butt funneling code of conduct

This is what the new landscape looks like.

Hopefully you end up with your misses / dead roster weight moving out and being replaced with contributors.

Limited space any more for Omar Mannings.

Doesn't mean that it works out all the time, but it's the new reality.

Dang, that's some puckering.

Is there an actual point being made here or just classic Kim Kong-Un deflection? I posted facts for my argument and Mr. “I only deal in facts” doesn’t have shit. As per usual.

8 catches = “experienced player” 🤣🤣🤣 What an absolute agenda-obsessed fraud. Even your simpleton Stepford wife knows that’s bullshit.

On the one hand I have questioned the kids drive in my head. On the other I wonder how turned off he was to see 2 portal receivers come in and be named starters after the excitement of landing Raoila. If I'm a receiver and after that, I see they can't find a way to hit my teammate Lloyd deep all season after his previous year with a tremendous upgrade at QB, I might check out and accept the redshirt while planning to transfer as well.

We will see.

His RS plan was settled during fall camp. Also, it wasn’t the two transfers. He was behind Nelson and Barney, two freshmen and would have competed for scrap playing time with Bullock.
